In facing the challenging economic situation of 2017, job security is an question to everyone, and even the escalating cost of living have made most of us every single dollar count.
Therefore, how to made the most out of every dollar or live with the cheapest and reasonable cost, spend less and earn more are the challenges of those low and middle income earner nowadays.
I did a research and reviewed my insurance coverage this morning, and came cross an insurance product which provide Cash back to it customer at 15% per annual, which really attract my eyeballs and might consider to do a switching after this.
In my country, Malaysia, an Islamic Insurance Operator, Takaful Malaysia has been the FIRST and only Islamic insurance company rewards its General Takaful customers with a 15% Cash Back for no claims during the coverage period.
Strategy 1: 15% cash back with no claim
According to the operator, the Individuals or businesses of commercial or personal products under the General Takaful business are eligible to enjoy the Cash Back, provided they make no claims within their coverage period.
A friend of mine have enjoyed this benefit during her coverage period last year and received the cash back payment sixty days after the expiry of the certificate via e-payment facility.
Strategy 2:, if we visit to the branch and buy our policy at the customer service counter by ourselves, not go thru the agents, we can enjoy another 15% discount on premium.
With cash back and discount benefit together, I think we can save up to 30% of the premium we have to spend on the insurance coverage per year. It is seems a good deal, why not to do it ourselves? Just go and purchase or renew the policy at the branch, spend a hour visit, we can save for another 15% cost.
And, we do not need to afraid on how to make the claim if without an agent, in fact, fill a claim at the branch is very simple, just fill up a form and provide those necessary supporting documents, the officer will sure help to proceed with the claim process.
I am always very calculative on my spending, hope these tips help you too in your insurance coverage strategy!

I can read through your posts that you are a wise person who think of ways on how to be able to economize and be able to save a lot when purchasing insurances and the like.
Actually, we don't have those accident insurances. Although, when you ride a bus going to Manila, you will be made to choose if your buy an insurance for only 20 pesos (US$ .02), good only in case you met an accident on that trip.
Even airplanes have insurance coverage inclusive of the airfare paid.
We also have our accident insurance coverage for each employees at the office.
@Dina,so do you buy the insurance when ride the bus?
