Has anyone tried swimming in a hot spring?
There are hot springs at the next province to us, where many old and young people go to have some swimming.
It’s actually a natural hot spring, wherein there is a part where it is as hot as 30 degrees celsius and there are parts where it is moderately hot.
One doesn’t need to know how to swim actually.
You can see the old ones just seating by the sides of the pool with their heads only to be seen.
Actually, there are a lot of foreigners who goes to these hot springs, because of their therapeutic effect on one’s body.
When we actually went there one summer, there are a lot of people, young and old. They weren’t swimming although some are even diving.
Most of them will just be sitting at a part where it is just moderately hot. And that’s where we also we swam and after some time just simply sit for about an hour, then ate then went back to swim there again.
Hot springs are said to be rich sources of sulfur. They have healing effects like they treat skin irritations and infections such as eczema and rashes.
They stop those itch you feel in your body.
They relax tired bodies after a tiring day. They ease out joint pains. No wonder, a lot of old people likes taking a long dip in these hot springs.
You might say that when it’s summer, there will be lesser people swimming at hot springs.
Actually, rain or shine these hot springs attracts many people and by word of mouth passed to many friends because of the therapeutic effect it gave them after a long dip, attracts many people to go swimming to these hot springs.
So, when a hot spring is near your place or you went to a place where there is a hot spring, you might try it. I swear you will come back to take a long dip again after you have tried it.

I thought it is in Los Banos, Laguna! Is it in Tiwi, Albay where there is a geothermal plant because its source is the hot spring? Yes, it is so nice to take a dip in there; so good for the body and has natural minerals in it.
