Sunscreen for Adults: 3W Clinic Intensive UV Sunblock Cream

It’s summer over here and I realized that the sun’s rays are a lot powerful here during summer in comparison to how it is in my home country. I remembered at the time I was small, I never have to wear sunscreen if I need to play outside. I only need to apply the sticky lotion when we are at the beach! However, it is a must over here to apply sunscreen when going out to play. As a result, my son had to apply sunscreen whenever he is going out for a few hours in the morning especially when we encounter rare, blue skies!

It is the same with me. I noticed that as I age, I have to do varying skincare regimen during spring/summer in comparison to the products I use for autumn/winter. I had to make sure to use products with SPF during summer to protect my skin from harsh UV rays that can bring permanent damage to my skin.

I also use Western skincare but I’d say that I prefer the Asian skin care products for sun care simply because it easily gets absorbed in the skin. And that’s what 3W Clinic Intensive UV Sunblock Cream (SPF 50 PA+++) is all about. I bought it from Roseroseshop and it was on sale at the time (only $2.14!). It ended up being fairly priced for a 70ml tube since I paid for shipping but slightly cheaper over products like Garnier over here.

During my morning routine, I have to apply a pea-sized amount of the sunscreen to cover my entire face and neck. I like the packaging since it comes with a soft squeezable tube and the tip was pointy allowing me to just get the amount I wanted without any mess! The texture was really creamy, similar to a thicker consistency of the TD Emulsion serum.

It was really easy to apply evenly on my face. I also noticed that it gets absorbed only after 2-3 minutes and my face is ready for another cream or serum! There’s a very slight scent as I apply but similar to other Korean skincare creams I used in the past – it easily fades away. And here’s the thing I really like about Asian sunscreen: it doesn’t leave a white mask behind. Unlike the Garnier sunscreen my son uses, 3W Clinic sunblock doesn’t have any residue, not sticky, not smelly – perfect sunscreen for me!

I never have to re-apply the product. Well, I don’t think the product melts since I barely perspire here even with the sun scorching hot. So I think this 70ml tube will last me a long time! Not to mention that summer will only last a few weeks/months over here so I might be back to my highly moisturizing creams in no time!

I am really happy with this product and don’t mind buying it again. But I might try to look for alternative products that I can get with free shipping.

    • Nice, you have additional info here about skin care and protection. This time our sun is so hot and the effect if exposed too much to sun is blackening of the face called sunburn and hard to restore the original face.It may become forever hehehehe, and there is no forever. Congrats for your posts posted. Mine only one approved out of two, it's okay.

      • The risk of getting skin cancer apart from the temporary sunburn is my real reason why I want to protect myself from the harmful UV rays. I think it is a lot more common in some parts of the world for people to get skin cancer because the harsh UV rays are stronger, too. Thanks for the well wishes. Maybe it only got a bit delayed as they are still trying to settle the payments.

    • @cessy08, I seemed no longer like this site. I hate to know being charged as submitting plagiarized content. We can write as writers for years and never advocate plagiarism, and then here many are alleged as having plagiariewd content, so discouraging,

    • Now that the rain is coming through and the sun is hiding. Only a little sun screen may be needed or none at all. Haven't been to the beach in awhile. The beach can be very relacxing when the crowd isn't out. For some reason African Americans don't use much sunscreen.
