Stress is constant companion of life.

 

Stress can be caused not only by illness and injuries, but, of course, loss of close ones and relatives, loss of family, or job. Even such a positive thing as marriage can cause big stress. Simply put, stress is a human protective reaction in order to overcome some obstacles or danger. This is the reactions mobilizing the human organism, both the mind and the body, which play a positive role. In other words, stress is the body’s fight against various difficulties encountered, obstacles, illnesses, injuries, and so on.

While organism is fighting, there take place certain chemical reactions that produce a lot of adrenaline and other materials that increase pulse’s frequency, raises blood pressure, intensify respiration. This is the involuntary preparing of total body for a fight.

In the long-term stress causing overflow of stress hormones which wear out many bodies systems, overdrive the heart, have a negative effect on the central nervous system, and finally due to the stress opens ulcer in the stomach or duodenum. Short-term stress is inevitable, and it is positive, but long-term, when the body is working like a horse, it uses all resources.

The long-term anxiety, depression can be caused by a variety of things, not just stress. Stress, of course, can highlight, to stimulate or to provoke, but there is also a genetic predisposition and diseases. Due to these factors the person also may experience panic attacks, constant anxiety, and inability to relax, and so on.

Stress really is inevitable, we can’t avoid it, it is our constant companion of life. Some things cause more stress, others less, some people are more responsive to the same stress, others – less. Some people can resist, others unfortunately do not take care of themselves and wear out the body in other ways: too little sleep, overeating, consuming too much alcohol. Exercise and activity is one of the best natural methods to help deal with stress.

Always something is going on in life, and our daily life: the pace of life, the rhythm, the constant social pressure, career, income, and social deprivation. It is important to relieve the stress by positive emotions, encouraging occupations, physical activity. All of this really helps to resist long-term effect of stress.
