Listening to fresh and dashing Antonio Vivaldi creation “Spring”, where flood of sadness pours over the broad plain of Italy, and in happy steps, like a dancer, fleeing by heavenly gardens, you know that music and spring is inseparable. You know, that to survive the spring you can only if fully devote to music, just if at least little let into your inside, because the music like a rain washes away, make you cry, refreshes, evokes a variety of emotions. You even are amazed how many feelings fit in you, how all they are different and how everyone needs them. All the feelings are necessary: and sadness, and fear, and anxiety.
The gamma of feelings in human heart is much wider than he dares to feel. Feeling can’t be loaned – everyone feels differently. Spring and music – the combination that run through you, does not leave anyone indifferent, which helps to survive even those feeling that we are afraid of, that are making us weak and which sometimes we condemn as shameful.
I’m not afraid to feel the pain that heals. I am not afraid to feel the tears that heal. I am not afraid to listen the music that shakes the whole body. So, leave everything and run to catch the spring in every fragile first flowers when the sun goes bathing and bird sings on a branches… yes, it feels, spring is really here.
Without the music there still is something what helps to survive spring – simple lightweight colorful salad – juicy tomatoes, fresh cucumbers, fresh pepper and red onion – is the finest in the spring, when you do not want anything substantial. In addition, mild lemon dressing makes us very vigorous.
So, this evening I sit with Vivaldi, fresh salad and glass of red wine. I am celebrating coming warmth, reassuring sunlight. I am celebrating the spring.
