It is nail art (or trying my hand at it) time once more! A couple of months ago, I decided to try to use nail art (or simply just by painting my nails) to de-stress. At the time, I wanted to try to make an effort to “make time for myself” instead of constantly worrying and thinking of chores, work, my son, my husband, and other things. I think it greatly helped as I am now able to enjoy and often find myself looking for things to do! I guess deliberately thinking that I HAVE to find time for myself allowed me to make a few adjustments to how I use my time so it paid off in the end, I think.
I don’t do or attempt doing meticulous nail art these days and just enjoy doing simple nail decorations. I guess if you are as lazy as I am (or can’t be bothered to spend a lot of time on these things), you will agree with me that nail stickers are your best friend! It is funny that I use these things to decorate my nails but never did it while I was younger, LOL!
For this post, of course, my favorite “go to” place for anything cheap will be featured – eBay! I won this set of nail art sticker sheets from an eBay auction (paid $1.26 for it) and it comes with free shipping, too. Took it 3 weeks to arrive but I can’t complain since I knew from the beginning it could take that long. And just like the other times I work on my nails, I make sure I have everything I need within access.
The nail sticker sheet has a lot of floral and cute designs but I decided to go for this sheet. I was planning to place two stickers on my big toes: a flower and a butterfly sticker. I thought I’d place the stickers in such a way that the butterfly seems to fly over on the flower as if dropping by to visit.
It is still summer so I thought I’d use OPI’s Where did Suzis Man Go. Of course, I started by applying one coat of colorless base nail polish and two coats of the OPI nail polish. I waited for about 2-3 minutes to let the orange nail polish to dry. I didn’t want to smear the OPI polish as I place the stickers and since it is the first time for me to use nail stickers – I didn’t know what to expect! Eek!
After waiting, I carefully peeled off the nail sticker design I want to use. It was so easy and I only need to be mindful of making sure the sticker won’t fold to the edges. Luckily, it didn’t and the sticker was placed without hiccups on my toenails!
Of course, I finished the look with a coat of quick dry top coat from Sally Hansen.
Overall, it was nice to see the sticker against the vibrant nail polish. I just wish the sticker is more pigmented than it is but then, it is just me being picky!

Will there be 10 identical stickers for all nails else the nails would look crowded. Don't you think?
Yeah there is enough nail stickers for 10 toenails but I don't like to put stickers on the smaller toes, LOL! Maybe if I use the stickers for my fingernails, I'd put it on all 10 fingernails.
