South Africa Beaten by Bangladesh in 3rd ODI of series,2015

South Africa was scheduled to play a 3 Match ONE DAY International Series in Bangladesh in 2015. Both teams have great players and all rounder’s and match winners and it would be interesting to see them battle in this series. The 3rd ONE DAY international match was to be played on Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium, Chittagong, Bangladesh on 15^th July, 2015. South Africa already won the 2 match T 20 series earlier. The series is tied at 1-1 and winner of this last ODI match will be the winner of the series. Rain interruption curtailed the match to 40 over’s a side match.

South Africa batted poorly and was able to post total of only 168 runs in 40 over’s at the loss of 9 wickets and with top scores of South Africa Star batsman and all rounder J P Duminy who made 51 runs in 70 balls with 3 4’s and 0 six at the strike rate of 73 runs in 100 balls and David M who made 44 runs in 51 balls with 5 4’s and 0 six at the strike rate of 86 runs in 100 balls.

Bangladesh was needed to score 169 runs in 40 over’s to win this match and to win this series of 3 One Day international Matches 2-1.

Bangladesh batted very well and was able to chase this total of 163 runs in 26.1 over’s at the loss of only 1 wicket and  top scored by Bangladesh star batsman S Sarkar who made unbeaten 90 runs in 75 balls with 13 4’s and 1 six at the strike rate of 120 runs in 100 balls.

Bangladesh won the match by 9 wickets and won the series 2-1.
