South Africa beat West Indies in T 20 game played in 2008

West Indies was scheduled to play a 1 Match T 20 International Series in South Africa in 2008. Both teams have great players and all rounder’s and match winners and it would be interesting to see them battle in this series and who will be crowned as the winner after the series as both are ranked at 2 and 6. South Africa batted well and was able to post total of 180 runs in 20 over’s at the loss of 5 wickets and with top scores of H Amla who made 80 runs in 50 balls with 4 4’s and 1 six at the strike rate of 160 runs in 100 balls and Ab De Villiers who made 50 runs in 25 balls with 4 4’s and 2 six at the strike rate of 200 runs in 100 balls.
West Indies was needed to score 181 runs in 20 over’s to win this match.
West Indies batted well but was unable to chase the score of 181 runs and was only able to make 170 runs in 20 over’s at the loss of 9 wickets and lost the game by 10 runs and top scores by D Bravo who made 40 runs in 40 balls with 3 4’s and 1 six at the strike rate of 100 runs in 100 balls.
South Africa won the match by 10 runs and now this 1 Match ONE DAY international series ends at 1-0 in favour of South Africa and with that win South Africa has won the series as well.
