South Africa Beat West Indies in 5th ODI Match of series,2010

South Africa was scheduled to play a 7 Match ONE DAY International in West Indies in 2010. Both teams have great players and all rounder’s and match winners and it would be interesting to see them battle in this series and who batted very well  will be crowned as the winner after the series as they are ranked at 2 and 5. West Indies was needed to score 225 runs in 50 over’s to win this match.

West Indies batted well but was unable to chase the target of 225 runs and was only able to make 157 runs in 38 over’s at the loss of 10 wicket and lost the game by 67 with top contributions from S Chanderpaul who made 24 runs in 49 balls with 0 4’s and 0 sixes at the strike rate of 49 runs in 100 balls.

South Africa won the match by 67 runs and series stands at 5-0 in favor of South Africa with 2 more games to play.
