Soft water advantages and disadvantages

Soft water! What is this? It is our first question when we first come into contact with the word. To clear out your confusion I define you what is soft water? It is nothing about touching and feeling its softness. The chemical compound of soft water is different from the water we usually consume.

 

Soft water is pure water such as clean rain water. To make it drinkable or usable we dissolve it through calcium or magnesium. Hard water contains strong calcium and magnesium compounds which make the water harder. Natural or treated water that does not include a significant quantity of dissolved minerals such as for example compounds of calcium or magnesium. Soft water cans very quickly lead to lead poisoning if it is transferred through lead pipes or kept in lead containers. This really is possible because it can quickly dissolve lead.

Soft water does not strengthen our bones and teeth since it includes no calcium. Thus causes to decay the teeth and bones slowly.

    • So I think the water flowing in our faucet is hard water. This is evident by the corrosion of some water pipes.

      Also I have noticed our new airpot already colored a bit yellow when in fact, it was as it was claimed a stainless steel inside.

      Knowing soft and hard water, can another water in between soft and hard water contents be made instead.

      Though, since hard water contains calcium and magnesium then it is the healthier water since our bodies need calcium and magnesium.
