Here I am with my daily soccer and NBA predictions daily. It’s 17th April 2017. 33rd round/match day. Firstly, let’s start with Soccer.
Today we have only 1 important match, in the Premier League. Middlesbrough – Arsenal. These two teams are facing each other and there is place for only one winner to take the 3 points. The match is played at the Riverside stadium, the home stadium of FC Middlesbrough.
This match is very important for both teams, especially for Middlesbrough, which are facing relegation as their current table position is 19th. Only Sunderland (20th and last) are below them. Despite the appearance, Middlesbrough are not а easy-let-go team. In fact they have one of the best defenders, which is why they don’t concede many goals even although they lose most of their matches.
As for Arsenal, they form is currently bad, would be even worse if they lose to Middlesbrough. Arsenal are currently the 7th placed team in the Premier League, and they must keep this place to play Europa League next year. Everton the 6th placed team, is only 3 points above them, so this victory would be important and table-position changing for Arsenal.
Arsenal have assured their 7th place, WBA is on the 8th place behind them with 44 points, which is 10 points behind Arsenal. The only thing left to fight for them is the 6th (most probably) and 5th place (Manchester United currently with 60 points).
Key players for Middlesbrough: Negredo A. 7 goals in the Premier League. He has played for Manchester City, and most of you know how deadly this guy could be in front of the goal.
Key players for Arsenal: Alexis Sanchez. The 3rd placed top-scorer in the Premier League with 18 goals.
