Ever heard of a hoarder? Guess what – I think I am! I think this latest obsession that I have with Korean skincare led me to become a Korean skincare hoarder – and I want to somehow overcome it! Apart from becoming an expensive habit, buying these items take a lot of space not to mention you might end up buying so much, you will end up with expired skincare products – and that is such a waste of money!
Similar to anybody who gets addicted to these things, there is a way to curb the habit. I realized that it is so nice to accumulate little things such as beauty samples especially with stores like Jolse being so generous with it! I initially planned to keep all samples so I can try it one-by-one (and write a review) but one day, I decided to open my samples box and was so surprised to see it is almost filled with it! I don’t apply so much product on my face and skin so if my estimate serves me right, it’ll take years before I use up everything! And with some samples and products expiring in 2019, it is possible these will all expire before I even get a chance to use even a drop.
So after that epiphany, I realized I can do something – advertise to sell it. I thought that if I manage to sell a couple of those, is a lot better than having no use for it all especially when it reach its expiration date. Especially with these skincare options, it still ends up a lot cheaper in comparison if bought from here so I can earn a few cents by re-selling it!
Of course, I don’t advertise to sell everything I bought or samples I received. I just post them for sale if I think that I don’t plan to use it within a month or so. And since the average time to receive online orders from Jolse is about 3 weeks, it won’t take me too long if I want to buy another one, right?
The only downside (maybe) is that since I live in a European country, I am not entirely sure whether they know of these Korean skincare brands or would even dare to try. Well, guess what. Since I decided to advertise my newly bought Korean skincare products for re-sale, I managed to sell a couple! I was probably expecting to sell a lot more (but didn’t) but still, it made a few space and was able to get rid of a few stuff in the process.
It was a good decision for me to advertise unused/will-not-use-anytime-now skincare products. Apart from turning it to cash, it is a lot better not to have too many products in my bathroom cabinet. What’s more, if I end up selling everything in the end, I can go back to the website and shop again! Yay!

Aloe vera has been used for a host of purposes since the ancient Egyptians called it the “plant of immortality.”
Since then, its uses have become more targeted and medicinal, and it's one of the leading therapies for sunburns.
Aloe vera is a cactus plant that belongs to the Liliaceae family. It grows in dry climates such as those found in parts of Africa and India and has been used medicinally for centuries.
Aloe leaves secrete a clear gel that when broken off from the rest of the plant that can be applied topically to heal wounds and soothe skin.
Various studies have been conducted to examine the benefits of the aloe vera plant and it was found out that aloe vera does in fact have several properties that are effective in treating a variety of skin conditions, from flaky or dry skin, cosmetic ailments, hair and scalp problems to many more.
It is also said to be useful in treating wounds and burns, minor skin infections, cysts, diabetes, and elevated blood lipids in humans, and shows some promise in treating more serious and persistent conditions such as eczema, genital herpes, dandruff, psoriasis, canker sores, skin ulcers and others, according to the Mayo Clinic
Aloe Vera helps with sunburn through its powerful healing activity at the epithelial level of the skin, a layer of cells that cover the body. It acts as a protective layer on the skin and helps replenish its moisture. Because of its nutritional qualities and antioxidant properties, the skin heals quicker.
Aloe vera gel contains two hormones: Auxin and Gibberellins. These two hormones provide wound healing and anti-inflammatory properties that reduce skin inflammation. Giberellin in aloe vera acts as a growth hormone stimulating the growth of new cells. It allows the skin to heal quickly and naturally with minimal scarring.
