Is Rooting android is worthy? Advantages and Disadvantages

I have already talked about many different facts regarding Rooting android in my previous article. I also talked about exact meaning of android rooting. As rooting means getting access of system area of any android phone, there are many advantages and disadvantages of this thing. It can be good for us and bad for us too if you don’t take care properly. Let’s talk in detail about advantages and disadvantages of rooting android phone.

Advantages of ROOTING android phone

Fully customize after rooting: If you can root your android then you are getting access of system files of android. So because of that you can do lots of extra customization with your android phone that is not available with normal stock ROM of your android phone. This means you can get lots of extra features regarding customizing your phone. This will improve your user experience.

Delete stock applications: You already know that whenever you purchase any android phone that phone comes with so many preinstalled apps. And many times you can’t uninstall those apps even if you want because they are installed in system space. Well, after rooting your phone you can easily uninstall those system applications from your phone and free up some system space.

Install custom ROMs: Custom ROMs are ROMs which are developed for your phone by different developers with more customization options and features. To know them well we surely need another article and I will write about it with my next article. But if you want to install custom ROM on your phone then you surely needed rooted android phone.

Install special applications: On Google play store is full of free and paid applications. But from them there are certain apps which can only run on rooted phones. As they need system access they surely works better and have unique feature on them in compare to other applications. So this is another advantage of rooting android phone. You can use all those applications on your rooted android phone.

Disadvantage of ROOTING android phone

Rooting process is not easy: Well, ROOTING process is surely not for some newbie. If someone makes any mistake then they can lost their phone. I mean their phone can get bricked easily. So rooting process is not easy one need to follow all the steps properly. So if you are not confident on yourself better to stay away from it.

It is risky even after ROOTING: As I said rooting process is for granting access of system area. And accessing system area can be risky. I mean if we by chance delete or modify something from system area then our phone is dead. So better do it safely.

Void warranty: I have already told this in my previous article. If we are rooting our android phone that means now our phone is not in warranty anymore. ROOTING is risky so they don’t accept rooted android phones under warranty. So please make sure about this thing before going for rooting process on your android.
