Role Of Indian Spin Bowlers in India’s Victories

Indian team has always relied on its spinners to win the matches in there home ground. This is the case mostly in the test matches or we should say in 5 Day Matches. Earlier it was Anil Kumle alone, then he got the company of H Singh, who is also a very good off spinner, with A K being the leg spinner, both bowled very well together and they won India many matches, Test and One Day International’s. They were very dangerous bowlers when they bowl together on Indian spin friendly wickets and even on over seas bouncy wickets as well.
When A K retired, H Singh take the role of senior spinner and bowled very well and also helped his fellow new spinners at that time, who were A Mishra, R C Ashwin, P R Ojha and even P Y Chawla as well. Now indian spin attack is headed and taken over by R C Ashwin and he was helped by R V Jadeja, A Mishra and J Y Yadav. Also new spinners like K D Yadav, A X Patel, V Prasad, and C Dubey can learn a lot from him. R C Ashwin is helping his captain to set fields as well as now he is quite experienced as well.
Hopefully Indian spinners bowl at their best in the 2nd Test against Australia which was scheduled to be played on 3 rd March, from Chinna swami stadium in Bangalore, Karnataka. As India is already down by 1-0 in the series of 4 Test matches with 3 more games still to play. India may think of adding K D yadav in the 2nd Test against Australia as J Y Yadav did not impressed any in the 1st match. Mean while the Aussie spinners steve o K and Nathan L are also playing well, and both took more then 15 Wickets of India in the 1 St Test match.
