Quick fix Sandwich for Breakfast

 

A good breakfast sustains one for the day. Many do not think much of it but the very word break – fast says it all. Never go on an empty stomach which is sure to have a toll on one’s health. There is no limit to the varieties one can think of, for a breakfast meal.

Morning breakfast must have some amount of proteins that will go a long way to carry on for the day and so too some carbohydrates.

I had these sandwiches for breakfast and I am sure you will like them too. 

I  have named this sandwich ‘Boiled Egg Delight’ as the main ingredient is boiled egg. 

 

Ingredients

1  Medium sized boiled beet root – don’t forget to add a pinch of salt while boiling. If you cut the Beet in two and pressure cook it it will boi lin no time. 

2  Medium sized tomatoes

3  2 boiled eggs

4. Butter – optional I do not use butter

5. Onion rings – one onion will do

6. Chopped coriander leaves

7. 8 slices of bread – that will make 4 sandwiches. I do not trim the edges. I like them that way

8. Chopped green chilli – optional

Method

Peel beetroot and thinly slice it. 

Slice tomatoes thinly

Slice eggs thinly

Slice onion into ring and garnish them with salt and sugar.

Place all the stuff neatly on the bread slices layer by layer and press two together. 

This sandwich has all the nutrients that a breakfast should normally have. 

You can also add grated cheese. 

Sandwiches per se are not usually had for breakfast but those who have little time to churn out elaborate items for breakfast these sandwiches provide the required source of energy.

Tea or coffee along with some fruit or a fruit juice rather than a fruit is normally included.

Not having breakfast often leads to acidity and this needs to be kept in mind.

    • Eating a sandwich in the morning would be a better idea when it comes to improving one's health. A boiled egg may do the same but I think a sandwich is a better option.
