I am on several writing sites. Some insist on perfect grammar and spelling, some pay more for many words regardless of grammar and spelling, some specify the minimum number of words or characters. There is hardly any site that specifies the maximum number of words or characters.
Whatever we write is read by millions and many of these millions would certainly want to read what is written in perfect English
Literacy Base has a minimum of 300 words but what I have noticed is that they are not particular about grammar or spelling nor are they particular about the quality of a post. The more words are written higher are the earnings. A short post could contain valid information that could benefit those who search for information on the Net.
I spotted a post a verbose one but with many grammatical errors nor are the sentences well formed. That post is approved and is available for those who want to read it.
I have no objection to the rule that LB lays but when we as a community read these posts they must be well written taking care to see that everything written there is grammatically correct.
A well written post is like music to one’s ears with no false notes.
Granting a site does not bother about this but those who read – the citizens may just skip such posts.
I sincerely feel no matter which site it is they must insist on grammar and spelling as no one wants to read something with broken English. Not me anyway.
When Google is so particular about so many things it is strange that it does not bother about these details which for readers like me are important. I will never read posts that are poorly written. Just as we choose authors whose books we read we choose them because we like their style of writing.

It does annoy me. I do hate lengthy posts coupled with a lot of grammatical mistakes. One must make a habit of working on rough drafts to improve the things. Anyhow I do agree with you. Literacybase dot com must consider the issue to improve the standard of the site.
