Baking cookies has been one of my favorite passion since I
started to bake from scratch.
I know that Chocolate Chips Cookies are American favorite
cookies and so are my kids.
There are many version of Chocolate Chips cookies
available in the market but adding quick cooking oats is a
challenge for me to try out since it oats are considered
healthy and nutritious for kids and adults.
Quaker oats is my favorite brand, the old man who wears
a Sunday hat, actually for generations.
Although I had to pay a little more money than the Tesco
brand, Quaker oats texture are fine, not coarse and a little
brittle, suitable for baking cookies and cakes.
This is a great recipe for kids, weight watchers and health
conscious consumers.
Tips
l reduce the 1 cup of brown sugar to ½ cup.

You do not need to use baking powder if you use SR flour.
l Replace fresh milk with baby formula milk
l Replace castor sugar with icing sugar
l Use low cholesterol butter and non salted, don’t use
margarine
l Replace peanuts with cashew nuts, hazel nuts, pine nuts
or sunflower seeds
l Adding oats into cookies provides your child sufficient
energy that his brain and body is active and energetic.
l Oats is loaded with dietary fiber, helps to reduce
constipation. Hence, your oat cookies are healthy for kids
l Oats helps to reduce obesity problems especially for
school age kids and teenagers.

hunger.

food and candies.

I love cookies and anything biscuit. But th3 only cookis that i know how to bake are baking powder biscuits i tried them once just out of curiosity and they came out so well I was even shocked. But the one thing that i have always wanted to know how to bake are fluffy cookies. I don't know how to bake them and I am all over trying to get the best ingredients and the methods of how to do them. Am not a particular fun of oats but I think the recipe can work without the oats.
