Most pups have common traits. They have too much energy and they will be seen doing exactly what you will not want them to do.
We have had several dogs in our life and each of them came with a baggage of mischief having different interests. We patiently bore it all till they on they became sedate and they will. This is what one should know before they decide to get a pet. It’s a lot of work.
1. House breaking is not easy. But this is the first job one should take on. The pup will mess up at different places. You need to clean it all and use some strong smelling disinfectant. Collect a bit of their mess and put in on a piece of paper and keep the paper where you would want the pup to go. The pup will sniff around and it will go straight where the paper has been kept. Gradually the pup can be trained to go outdoors.
2. Just as a baby they too have teething problems, when they will chew at anything that their paws can get hold of. A pup gets fascinated with something that moves, something that is colourful A house should therefore be puppy proof just as we baby proof our house. Our little one would run away with footwear belonging to guests. Fortunately she would not chew but hide it in the garden and it was a job for us to hunt for it.
3. They should never be leashed as far as possible as this makes them violent and ferocious. A pet should be a part of the family and therefore making it ferocious can upset the apple cart specially where children are around
4. Guests should never be familiarised with your pet. A pet will never know the difference and that will be troublesome if an intruder walks in.
5. Pup and its name: We all have the tendency to call it by so many pet names. This should be avoided as the pup will not know what it’s real name is. And therefore will not take orders.
6. Your pup needs a lot of love and care. The more it receives the more it will give. Some use them as security and nothing else.
7. Consult your Vet to draw up a diet for your pup and also the de- worming schedules.
8. Never hit or beat the pup. A firm voice does the job.
A well trained pup is an asset. Keep it that way.

you had given great tips here.
My mom used to leash a pup because it is constantly b barking and yelping at anyone.
I love that pup very much, it has the dalmation fur, black and white patches, however it died after my dad used a chain to hit its head when it barked loudly at night.
It died in its kennel and pooped diarrhea.
I guess it was hurt.
Pup should not be leash.
It should be allowed to roam freely.
@peachpurple Sorry but your father should not have done that. That pup or dog was only doing its duty. Preiti is petted and spoilt and I let her bark although it could be irritating sometimes. We should let them live their life or not have any pets at all.
Puppys are just like humans.they need all the loving and care that humans can get. Treating them with tender love and care can make them very good pups. Usually they need to be trained to go potty, train them in some simple things like come, go, out and seat. That way the pup will know what it needs to do at certain times when withoutbeing told. But I know that pups can be very annoying and stubborn at some point.
