A paragraph is a number of sentences grouped together relating in one topic.They may be short or long according to the necessity of the case.
The essentials of a good paragraph are:
1. Unity i.e it must deal with one topic only.
2. Order ie Events must be related in the order of their occurrence.
1.Telling someone how to reach a hospital:
If you go straight along the road,you will come to a canal,after crossing,the bridge over this canal please turn to your left.When you have covered the distance of a furlong,you will find a crossing.Here the road going on your right is the Nishtar Hospital Road.Take this road and walk on about two furlongs.You will now be in front of a building meant for out door,on its right is the main building of the hospital.
2.Instruction by a mother to her daughter:
Dear daughter i am obliged to be away for a few days.you know your brother is ill.he needed a lot of care and nursing.I am leaving him under your care.Please get the medicines from the doctor in time.Give the doses punctually.As nothing else.Any solid food will give him a great harm.You can however try quacker oats ,if he insists on taking solid food.He should remain in bed.You can of course allow a few playmates to be with him.if he so desires.I hope you will do anything for his comfort in my absence.
3.Instruction for a servant in your absence:
I am leaving on tour today.I shall be away for a week.During this period you have to look after the house.If you can not remain awake throughout the night make sure you close all the doors. In case some guest turns up,put him up in the outer room.No stranger should be admitted.Plants in the garden should receive your special care.You will see that he mali did not neglect his work.he must work in the garden for at least three hours everyday.
3.Boarding a wrong bus:
If i find that i have boarded the wrong bus ,i shall ask the conductor to stop the bus.If he does not stop the bus.I shall ask him to return the balance of the fare and drop me at the next stop.I shall then wait at the next stop till the bus arrive.
4.Seeing a man lying by the road side:
I shall approach him cautiously and sit down by his side.Then i shall examine him carefully to see whether he is mad,injured or ill.if he is injured,i shall try to render him first aid.if he seriously ill or mad,i shall run to the nearest hospital,after getting him admitted.I shall look to his immediate needs.Finally i shall inform his guardians to look after him.
5. Encountering a snake: Seeing a snake, I shall try to kill it,this of course can only be done if i do not lose my presence of mind.If i begin to cry in terror,the snake is sure to escape so quietly.I shall look out for a stick,if it is available its killing would be easier.If it is not,I shall try bricks and stones,all the time i sshall remain at a safe distance.When the snake is killed, i shall bury it so that its poison may not harm to other people.
6.The Rose:
The rose is called the queen of flowers.It has not only a pretty look but also a sweet fragrance.Roses are of many colors and varieties.The red color is more common.These are generally used for making garlands and bouquets.
7.The Elephant:
The Elephant is the largest animal in the world.It has a huge clumsy body with two fan like ears.It has a pair of a small eyes and long trunk.Its rusks are very valuable.The Elephants are killed to obtain ivory from these tusks.They are also caught alive to be tamed and trained.Catching Elephant is of course very difficult and dangerous.The wild Elephants are driven into enclosure,Then tame elephant with their driver go among them and lead their free brothers into captivity.When trained they are used on state occasions in processions.They were also used in battles in olden days.
8. Milk:
Milk is the perfect food for the young and old.It is white in color and is denser than water.The best is obtained from cows and buffaloes,as it contains all the necessary vitamins.It is very useful for the children and patients.It has some defects also ,for instance it contains germs of yellow fever and that of the cow the germs of tuberculosis.Its chief products are curd,butter,ghee,cream,and cheese.These are all very sweet and delicious things to eat.

I really need a way to improve my English language because as they say no one is perfect. So am trying every possible way to see that my English gets improved and also to see that my intonation also improve. That is why I go through English text books and journals and articles to read about the common mistakes made when speaking English language. I even go to the extent of downloading apps which can in one way or the other improve my speaking skills. I very well prefer knowing how to speak English than passing English only in exams. Most of my classmates who are best in English language cannot defend themselves in public with English language. They are always blundering but when it comes to writing it down,they are first. No one in public will know if you know how to write English or not, he judges you from your spoken English.
But going through this post, I see nothing that can enhance my English speaking ability.This is just a write down of command, please, request and others but I guess people out there might find it so useful
