A few days ago, I had came up with my kids’ favorite snack added to
pork shreds.
Dried Seaweed laver!
My kids are great fan of dried seaweed laver.
They love to chew those packed dried seaweed laver, seasoned with
BBQ flavored, usually comes in a big square piece that is quite expensive
for a quick snack.
Since I found out that my kids loved seaweed laver, I might as
well add this salty snack into my new dinner recipe which is
called “ Stir Fried Pork Shreds with Seaweed Laver”.

Simply stir fried the pork shreds with enoki mushrooms and sprinkle
with strips of seaweed laver.
Sometimes, when I added in their favorite snack into the recipes that I
had cooked, it is easier for them to finish up the whole plate without
screaming at the top of my voice.
Stir Fried Pork Shreds with Seaweed Laver Recipe
Prep time: 10 min
Cooke time: 15 min
Yield: 3persons
l A packet of enoki mushrooms- cut off roots, loosen them and wash
briefly
l 3 large pieces of seaweed laver ( pre-packed- any flavor)- cut into
strips
l 200g of lean pork- cut into strips
l 1 tbsp of light soy sauce
l Dash of pepper
l 1 tbsp of oyster sauce
l Corn flour for coating enoki mushrooms
l Sufficient oil for deep drying
1. Drain the enoki mushrooms. Sprinkle sufficient corn flour, coat well by
tossing the enoki mushrooms in the colander.
2. Heat up wok with sufficient oil.
3. Use a chopstick to pick up some enoki mushrooms, deep fry until
crispy brown.
4. Do not toss all the mushrooms into the oil.
5. Loosen up the mushrooms, don’t clump them together because it will
turn sticky.
6. Set aside.
7. Cut pork shreds, season with oyster sauce , light soy sauce and
pepper.
8. Leave 2 tbsp of oil in the wok.
9. Saute chopped garlic until fragrant.
10. Add in pork shreds, stir fry until fragrant.
11. Decorate crispy enoki mushrooms on a flat plate.
12. Place the cooked pork shreds into the middle of the mushrooms.
13. Scatter strips of seaweed laver over it.
14. Serve immediately.
15. Yield: 3 persons
This is a wonderful dish for a family of 3 persons.
It is easy to prepare, nutritious and delicious.
