Poetry: I Feel So All Alone

I FEEL SO ALL ALONE

No matter what I do,

I feel I am all alone.

I see many faces,

Full of smiles and laughters.

I can hear the tweets of the birds,

But they seem nothing to me.

I see the towering mountains kissing the skies.

The clouds peep and call my name.

Through the howls of the wind,

I was stirred.

I stumbled upon where I stand.

I see a big stone near me.

It doesn’t move.

I sat upon its flat and shiny shape.

I feel the comfort.

It rocks my senses,

Because I am not a stone,

But why this lifeless stone,

Though years had passed,

It continued to shine and withstand

The many obstacles,

The many rugged floods

And cruel storms

It remains strong and proud

Of being alone

I must be like this stone

Full of hope and insensitive

To the cruelties of life.

I shouldn’t feel all alone.

    • As much as possible, I brushed off the idea of being alone. There are so many things to happen in life and being alone is not in my vocabulary. I choose to be happy and find ways to have it. It seems too difficult to sustain the happiness but I still refused to feel lonely.

Many are the times when we wake up feeling lonely not because we don't have people around us or in our lives but because loneliness is inevitable. I hate it when I feel lonely and there is nothing anyone can do to make me feel better. They is the time you need to come and air yourself down and talk to you there is where the truth lies within you. And you feel better

    • Anitah Gimase , Yeah my dear, you got the point. One must move on if encounter some heartaches in life. There is no reason to cling to the past for the more that it cracks the brain and breaks the heart. There is no reason actually why keep on thinking the yesteryear of a broken love.Life is still so beautiful despite some pains, and it is through what we had experienced that we grow mature and watchful more.
Life will be meaningless too without experiencing some problems of the heart.Through it, we learn more and become mature and have a heart that cannot be broken again.
