PLANNING A PARTY BY “SELF”

Planning a party alone requires a great deal of work, zeal and efforts. A host has to hold the responsibility of innumerable things. This can be tiresome, hectic and increase stress level as well.
These days the new concept of event managers is cropping up. All you will have to bear is the load of a hole in your pocket and everything will be done in accordance to your will. Enter the party as a guest and enjoy yourself. Rest everything will be handled by them. There is no doubt that their fees is real high and if you do not regret spending double the actual cost of everything then go for it for sure.
But there are people like me who believe in saving money and do not refrain from putting in self efforts in hosting a party. This calls for preparation in multiple aspects. Some of the major include decorations, music, food, ambience, fun and guest comfort as well.
A proper decorated place is loved by all. Everyone prefers a well decorated place to party as it helps to keep the party spirits high and at the same time spreads a positive aura among the guests. I do not emphasize on lavish decorations every time even small and basic decorations with flowers and balloons helps manifolds.
Next thing that comes in action is proper seating place for everyone. It is the sole responsibility of the host that he looks after the seating arrangements in the party. One must ensure that there are enough chairs available for every guest. Comfortable seating with proper access to food is an important part of party planning.
The third and the most important part is good food. It is the priority of every party. The menu should always be planned in such a manner that it corresponds to the likes of guests. If there is a wide age variation among the guests then it is mandatory to add at least one item in accordance with the preference of every age group. From welcome drinks, starters, main course to desert , a variety of food options in each category is always welcomed by all.
Another part of a party is music and dance. A light music in the background makes the atmosphere lively and is always an extra feather in the cap. If the guests prefer loud music and prefer to tap their feet as well, a good host should always make arrangements beforehand so as to cater to the demands of his guests.
Funny games for the guests always raise the party spirits. Simple one minute games can set up the entire party in action. It helps to pop up the spirits of one and all and keeps their energy levels high.
These are some basic elements that help to make the party a successful one. Party time is fun time and it gets more enjoyable if these basic aspects are taken care of. And above all the warm, welcoming and courteous nature of the host always adds up the party levels.
