Physical work can replace exercise

Exercise is one of the important aspects of maintaining good health. Those who choose sedentary jobs and do nothing else, visit gyms to get the exercise they think is required to maintain good health. There are far easier ways if only they spend time in their homes doing domestic chores instead;

I remember the story of Betty and Veronica in Archie Comics where Betty a middle class girl would toil around the house and maintain a perfect figure whereas Veronica a spoilt brat coming from a wealthy family, would toil at a Gym and still have a dowdy figure. Veronica thought her friend Betty cheated on her and secretly went to a Gym. 

There are several physical jobs that we do can provide us the exercise we need to keep our body in trim. It will also do away with having to engage maids also the need to go to a Gym thus saving a lot of money. 

 

Here are some chores that are equivalent  to exercises that we read so much about

1 Washing clothes will strengthen our arm muscles and so also digging in the garden.

2. Reaching for flowers or cutting branches at a higher level would be equivalent to stretching exercises.

3. Kneading flour will strenghten our wrists. 

4. Swabbing the floor or doing the toilets going on our knees will reduce our stomach. 

5. Walking up and down the stairs taking care of chores that are on the upper floor will give us the required walking exercise. 

6. Taking the dog for a walk yet again will take care of the amount of walking we need to do

These are just a few of the many chores that could provide us with the necessary exercise. There  could be more.

 

It is a pity really that those who are at the helm of health advisers never talk about how daily chores can do away with a lot of exercises that they recommend we do.  This makes me believe that they are promoting Gyms and perhaps get some mileage out of that.

    • Yes, if no exercise so the physical work makes exercise deficiency complete in daily life but there are some women who do not make any physical exercise in home wok shape they always remain ill and disease encircles their body.

      Physical exercise means that Physical exercise is any bodily activity that enhances or maintains physical fitness and overall health and wellness.

      Physical exercise is not only important for your body's health- it also helps your brain stay sharp.

      Your brain is no different than rest of the muscles in your body--you either use it or you lose it. You utilize the gym to stimulate the growth of muscle cells, just as you use a brain fitness program to increase connections in your brain.

      But you can actually get an additional brain boost by donning your sneakers and hitting the gym. The benefits of physical exercise, especially aerobic exercise, have positive effects on brain function on multiple fronts, ranging from the molecular to behavioral level.

      According to a study done by the Department of Exercise Science at the University of Georgia, even briefly exercising for 20 minutes facilitates information processing and memory functions.

      Benefits of Physical Exercise in Dally Life

      In general, anything that is good for your heart is great for your brain.

      Aerobic exercise is great for body and brain: not only does it improve brain function, but it also acts as a "first aid kit" on damaged brain cells.

      Exercising in the morning before going to work not only spikes brain activity and prepares you for mental stresses for the rest of the day, but also produces increases retention of new information, and better reaction to complex situations.

      When looking to change up your work out, look for an activity that incorporates coordination along with cardiovascular exercise, such as a dance class.

      If you like crunching time at the gym alone, opt for circuit work outs, which both quickly spike your heart rate, but also constantly redirect your attention.

      Hitting a wall or mentally exhausted? Try rebooting with a few jumping jacks for your brain improvement exercises.
