Not all pet owners love their pets. For them they are status symbols and when it comes to dogs they are kept as watch dogs. They are leashed twenty fours and they are kept away from human touch which results in them being ferocious and therefore people do not want to go close to them.
I was invited to a wedding and stated with them as houseguest for a week. There was gaiety around – lots to eat, singing, dancing and what have you.
When I went around I saw their dog a well grown Alsatian in a kennel. The kennel was small. It had dirties that place all over and he had no place to sit. I saw him sitting in a corner looking very sad. The maid of the house just fed the dog and that’s it.
I being an animal lover just could not bear to see it. I looked for a hoze pipe and washed the kennel standing outside as I was not sure if the dog would accept me if I went inside. Atleast the dog had a clean place now.
What disturbs me about these rich people is that they have no thought for their pets. They feel feeding a dog is all what they need to do.
Animals need love, they need company, they need to move freely, they need good exercise, they need to have a Vet to take care of their health needs.
Those who do not have areas for their pets to run around they should not keep pets. I have seen even cats being confined indoors. They never see the sun rise or set.
A well trained pet is an asset around. They can be great companions for kids and seniors alike. It is known that well trained pets could relax those with mental issues.
Animals have feelings. Let us respect them and give them a life that they truly deserve.

Yup, many pet owners treated their dog as the guard of the house, a slave and dirt.
Dogs needed love and care. Unfortunately there are people who leased their dogs under the tree during rain or shine except for night time, the dog is allowed to sleep in the compound.
You should had seen my neighbor.
He uses a huge bamboo cane to whack his 2 dogs if they do not listen to him.
When they poop or urine in the compound, these dogs get whacked until they howled.
