Pets are an asset around specially when they are well trained. They are faithful, fun loving and intelligent too.
They have their own demands. When Preiti is hungry she has her own ways to give me the indication. She will toss her empty bowl or stick out her tongue. I like it when she does that.
When she wants to play, she will go where we have kept the balls. She will drop one from there and expects me to throw it for her. We have a nice session playing with each other.
If she wants to go out she will stand near the door. If she wants to come in and the door is closed she will knock at the door from outside.
Last but not the least she insists on a clean bed for her.
I was amazed one day when she pulled out the bed sheet that I had spread and repeatedly pulled it until I changed it and only then did she climb up and curled herself up there. The bed sheet was indeed soiled.

Pets I have noticed are intelligent and demanding. Some of their demands cannot be fulfilled such as begging for food at the dining table. I have trained Preiti and so she is never found at the table. She will lie down at my feet until I have finished eating. I will give her a bit of what I am eating but not until I have washed it. She simply loves these titbits. She will start eating her food only after she has what I call starters.
We had a small party yesterday and while we were at the dining table she just left the place and spent time in the garden until we had finished our tea.
It all depends on how we train our pets and train we must so that they are great companions.
