Pakistan Beat Bangladesh in 5th ODI of Bilateral Series

Bangladesh was scheduled to play a 5 Match one day International series in Pakistan. Bangladesh have been playing good cricket and it will be interesting to see these 2 teams battle it out in the bilateral series.

5th and final Match of the One Day international series was to be played on National Stadium, Karachi, Pakistan on 19th April. Pakistan won the toss and opts to bat first, so this means Bangladesh will bowl first.

Pakistan batted very well and was able to score 329 runs in 50 over’s at the loss of 9 wickets and with the contributions of S butt who made 136 runs in 124 balls with 14 4’s and 1 six at the strike rate of 110 runs in 100 balls and Y Khan who made 69 runs in 80 balls with 4 4’s and 1 six at the strike rate of 86 runs in 100 balls faced.

Bangladesh was needed to score 330 runs in 50 over’s to win this 5^th and Final One Day International match.

Bangladesh batted poorly and was bowled out for only 179 runs in 40.5 over’s and with the contributions of Mahmudullah who made 37 runs in 83 balls with 2 4’s and 1 six at the strike rate of 45 runs in 100 balls and A Razzaq made 33 runs in 40 balls with 5 4’s and strike rate of 82 runs in 100 balls. Pakistan won the match by 150 runs and series 5-0. S Butt was both Man of the Match  and series as well.
