It is another edition of Korean skincare hauls (yay!). Recently, I discovered another reasonably-priced website selling Korean skincare called Rinishop. I first discovered the seller thru eBay as I participated thru the various eBay auctions from her. As a result, I bought a number of items and have been quite happy with the free shipping, quick dispatch of items, and early arrival of my items. I never had any issues with the eBay store that needed me to contact Customer Support so I thought, why not try the online store?
So my feet are badly needing some TLC and I have been saving some money to buy foot peeling socks after reading positive reviews about it. I have set my eyes on an item from Jolse but I also wanted to buy a paraffin/essence foot treatment socks to hopefully reduce the time I need to peel my feet. I mean, I don’t have issues peeling dead skin cells off my feet (disgusting but if you do it, you know it’s addicting!) but I think that chemical peels, in general, shouldn’t be done regularly (well, that’s just me!).
I typically use Jolse and RoseRoseShop to buy Korean skincare online but I am getting a bit tired of comparing prices and estimating shipping fees. I also noticed that RoseRoseShop is not that cost-effective if you have to buy just one packet of face mask because of the weight in terms of grams. Apart from that, RoseRoseShop is not that generous in terms of free samples so I thought I’d reserve the shop if I really need to buy a couple of items from the store because that’s where it becomes cheap in terms of the total expense.
At that point, I decided to compare Rinishop versus Jolse. Both online stores offer free shipping so I don’t need to go through the hassle of estimating shipping fee. Coincidentally, I found that the peeling foot mask is cheaper in Jolse and the paraffin foot socks cheaper in Rinishop (set of three). So I decided to buy from both stores and here are the comparison between the two stores.
Unlike Jolse, Rinishop doesn’t have the store credit (yet) where customers earn a few cents back for buying items from the store. But that’s OK since RoseRoseShop doesn’t have one either.
The order from Rinishop got dispatched a day earlier than Jolse. But surprisingly, the order from Jolse arrived one day earlier than the Rinishop packet (LOL!). Since I only ordered foot socks, both arrived in padded envelopes, which is alright since the items weren’t fragile.
The freebies. Both shops gave me three sachets of freebies. Well, Rinishop technically gave me one type of item but that’s alright since I am only looking at the quantity anyway. So at this rate, I can say that Rinishop is almost as good as Jolse!
Overall, I was impressed with Rinishop and I think I will only look at these two stores from now on!
