I have done a lot of online jobs and found out that they can be really time wasters. I have spent a lot of time for offline job too. And realized that offline jobs are secure. It can be a good option if you consider regular earning. Many offline jobs also pay more than online jobs. I meant to say think about jobs where you teach others. And those jobs can in turn pay a lot of money. You just have to be consistent and build a reputation and resume. If you do that then getting offline job and then keeping it is not that hard. I’d say it’d be a good option if you consider offline job for consistent income stream.
In case of online work or even time pass earning sites say like PTC and surfing sites, It’s not easy to get paid. Also you have to put in more work compared to any other jobs offline. For example, lets say you want to earn say 100$ from the online work. Most likely the sites online take 6 months or so for earning that much amount. And it means that earning capacity is really hard. You should consider working offline job if you want to make some serious money. Because offline earning gives you some level of stability. Also you can sue to the people if they don’t pay you. That’s something we can’t do online.
At the end, I want to tell you that I lost a lot of time and money with online jobs. I wanted to spend time doing other things. But online earning wasted my time. And I found out that I have nothing to do that just get back to working hard. So I’d say never lose your real job for online opportunities. Also keep the online work for backup. And build your savings for years. Make sure you spend money wisely. Avoid spending money during you build up the savings. This way you don’t end up in bad financial condition.
Those who tell you PTC, writing sites will make you rich are wrong. This is just time pass earning. It should not be taken seriously.
Rest is your call.

I work as an online teacher for more than 3 years. I think it is not a waste of time because the earnings are three times higher than the regular jobs in my city. I am saying this because offline jobs didn't give enough salary to earn. At present, I am more on the practical side. I can work at home and can earn money at the same time.
Some people in my country cannot see the difference. But I will stick to this kind of job and wait for the right cash cow business. At this point of time, I will enjoy teaching online and continue to earn money for future plans. The best part is, I don't need to deal with incompetent bosses.
Thanks for sharing. I understand your point about offline jobs. They do pay more but when you work online sites, they can in time, provide some good passive income. A case in point, Vindale surveys has a referral program and this can add up to making money. Also, hubpages offers a referral program that can provide a percentage of what the other person makes. Granted, this takes time and work but investing your time and telling others can bring some fruit. I don't think working some sites are a waste of time especially when you are sitting without having nothing to do. Mturk offers a good program and pays better than other sites. So, there is some light at the end of the tunnel.
Thank you for this post! These days I am beginning to try offline jobs. I have already created my account on such offline site. I begin to teach - yeah! It's my real profession and my passion. I am passionate to share my knowledge globally. I like jobs where I teach others. So I support the line you here proposed us.
It depends on how sucessful you are at what you do. I think PTC are a waste of time but those dedicated in writing could be doing well. If you have an online blog and know how to advertise it the right way then you will get more income than you think. The problem here is that you need to be very creative in your writing and know the public you are trying to reach out to, then advertise your blog to said people.
When it comes to writing sites like Literacybase or Mylot it is a slower income but it all depends in the time you invest to get the money.
I have an offline job and i intend to keep it since it is what i live on. The online earning are what lets me spoil myself with something materialistic.
For other people it isn't like this. Some people can have 3 or 4 blogs, be on writing sites and maybe even youtube. This all together would get you some good income, but like i said, if you know how to get audience for them.
