My mother, sister and me are on a three week vacation and instead of going further south we went north. We are having a vacation of memories. The vacation started a few days early for my sister was able to find someone to take her days at work. My work is on-line so I can work where ever I am. That is so nice. We are in Western Pennsylvania and visiting friends and family and enjoying the cool air at times compared to the humidity of Central Louisiana. I really do miss this state.
Since I am an online worker and school student I can write my articles as well as finish up the current and last course towards my doctorate except for my dissertation work with internship. I only have four discussions left of school. I have also helped my sister father-in-law with a few small chores like weeding a small rose garden and trimming some hedges for him. We have already had a few meals in a few favorite restaurants. The memories keep coming for me for when I look around I can still see my dad where we used to sit. I know he is around me watching me and it makes me feel good.
We are planning a birthday party for my mom this Saturday for all her friends at a local park and they will probably have some memories as well. I think it is funny how some people have different memories than what you actually remember. I love my family immensely but sometimes I do not always think that is true of the way they think of me. There are many times that they say Hi how is it going I answer and they move on to others. I try to join in, but a lot of times I guess I just do not fit in that is when I talk to myself quietly as if I am talking to dad.

Enjoy your vacation!
I am enjoying it very much. I am even writing my blog articles when I want and getting more ideas for articles as well.
I find it very curious of the vacation which everyone is taking to the place where they love to go, to spend a day, for a week, or for a month. Spending vacation to somewhere else is one of my dreams to have one or two. I have never got one. I just only read the personal account of those who have made it. They have enjoyed their stay. They have a family bonding. The kids wanted to have more days stay for the day or so are not enough.
Vacation to me is just family where ever you happen to be. I like going back to my hometown. I like the memories that it brings to me.
