The Soybean is an important gift from God. Soya beans are the plural form, because they are always many. It is one of the nutritious plants that should be part of our food. For good eye sight, strong bones, healthy tissues, Soya Beans powder is second to none. From soya beans, plant milk can be procured .From it comes the soya beans oil and cake. It can serve as a drink full of vitamins and protein. Growing children and adults need soya beans products for healthy living. It can be spread on stew, soup and other prepared food. On this blog, I am writing on how to prepare soya beans to be a drink like chocolate. The following are the steps of processing for consumption and sales.
a. Purchase of Soya Beans seeds
A processor buys desired quantity from the market. Small quantities are bought for household consumption, while large quantities are bought for commercial purposes. However; the processing is the same. The bags are saved in a dry place. Saving in humid places can make it germinate very soon. When this happens, the taste and quality will change, making it not consumable.
b. Picking of dirt.
It is recommended that soya beans should be examined before going to the next process. Picking of dirt out of the lot is achieved. Trays are used to do this and it can take days to pick a bag of soya beans.
c. Frying the seeds.
The next in the line of processing is frying it. It can be fried locally or industrially. With Soya Beans inside a frying pan and lighted firewood, Soya beans can be fried locally. In turns the soya beans will be spread on cool clean spread sheets. Dry carpets and paper sheets can be of good use for spreading. To fry it industrially it has to be in trays and placed into the heated oven. In turns when the soya beans are done, the trays containing the soya beans are pulled out with long wood used for that purpose.
d. Breaking the outer shells
The next is to break the shells. This is done with a hand grinding machine or grinding engine all set at a position of breaking the seeds only. The soya Beans seeds are poured in turns into the hand grinding machine or grinding engine. The broken seeds are then put into trays.
e. Blowing off outer shells

g. Sieving:
The sieving process makes it possible to have a clean real powdered substance. Clean Basins and sieving clothes are used. The sieve clothes are tied to cover the face of the basin. In turns the processor uses the fingers to sieve the grinded soya Beans into the basin. After sieving, a powdery substance is seen inside the basin.
h. Packaging:
To package Soya Beans, the producer need to buy water proof bags. Into the waterproof bags, the powder is measured and poured according to the desired quantity. The producer can make labels to distinguish his or her product from others.
i. Sale
The soya Beans are sold with arrangements with store owners if the quantity is small or is carried to the market for sale. Those who produce larger quantities can export them with all internationally recognized write ups explaining use, manufacturing date, expiry date, and storage and batch number. A 400 grams pack of Soya Beans costs up to fifty Dollars ($50.00) in some parts of the world.

Thank you for sharing your insights. I am looking for ways to eat right. I was amazed at the health benefits of the soya beans. In my family, we grew up eating pinto, black and garbanzo beans, but I have never tried soya. Maybe I will tell my wife to get some and taste it. Soup is, also, something that I like eating in order to give my stomach a break. Soya beans sounds like a good soup to have. Thank you for giving me some much needed tips and keep up the good work.
