New Zealand Beat Sri Lanka in 5th ODI of bilateral Series played in Year 2015-16

Sri Lanka was scheduled to play a 5 match One day International series in New Zealand in 2015-16. 4th one day International match was washed out due to rain. 5th and final One Day International match was to be played on Bay Oval, Mount Maunganui, New Zealand on 5th Jan, 2016.

Sri Lanka won the toss and opts to bowl first and this means New Zealand will bat first.

Sri Lanka batted very well and was on the way to win this match but they lost their way a bit in the end over’s and was eventually bowled out for only 258 runs in 47.1 over’s and top scored by skipper Angelo M who made 95 runs in 116 balls with 6 4’s and 1 six at the strike rate of 82 runs in 100 balls.
