My Ways Of Avoiding Bad Breath

Are you not confident in talking to someone or to your friends because of bad breath? Some people are suffering from it. I, myself had experienced having a bad breath. And, I am not confident in talking to anyone that is why I searched some possible solutions for it.

Bad breath is caused by tooth decay and internal or stomach problems. It is sometimes irritating because once you have a bad breath; it is not easy to cure it no matter how many times you brush your teeth. So, what are the possible remedies for it?

Well, the basic things we always do to lessen bad breath are the following:

  • We do a regular tooth brushing. It is advisable that we should brush our teeth daily and that is at least twice a day, in the morning and in the evening. Moreover, when brushing, even the tongue should be properly cleaned. If it is not the time for you to brush your teeth but you are done eating snacks or lunch, you should gurgle water to remove stocked food on your teeth. You can also wipe your tongue with clean wet towel.
  • We use dental floss. After eating, we should floss our teeth so the inserted food in our teeth will be removed before tooth brushing. Inserted food on the teeth, if not removed will be cause bad breath.
  • Using mouthwash will also a bad breath fighter. Mouthwash is actually designed to freshen up our mouth and kills bacteria that are causing bad breath.
  • After eating especially sweet foods, it is necessary to drink water. We all know that sweet foods are usually the reason why our teeth are easily destroyed.
  • Of course, we should do regular dental check up for at least twice a year or depending on how problematic we are on our teeth.
  • In addition, my latest discovery is using baking soda when brushing teeth. I actually, before, I read on the label of the baking soda that it will help whitens our teeth but I ignored it until such time that my breath seems bad. So, I decided to use lots of remedies even regular cleaning with the dentists, which is a great help but it cost me so much. That is why, I continue searching for some remedies and I suddenly found out how effective baking soda is. Every time I brush my teeth, I added baking soda to my toothpaste and brushed it for a couple of minutes before cleansing my teeth properly with lukewarm water. It really helps.

These are just the simple ways and the basic things that almost all are doing it, but the last part remedy is something unusual for some. Using of baking soda is actually just a part of my experience and I am not sure if someone experienced it too but I hope it will be a help with those who having problem with bad breath.
