Some times life can get so hectic and the burdens become heavy and we become stressed out!! We need something to calm us down, so that we can move productively on in our lives. When I get at times like this where I can’t focus on things and things are getting me down and I’m felling stressed, I like to go outside. Just being outside looking at the clouds, looking at the flowers and birds or just listening to the birds relaxes me. Often times (since we live close to a lake) I like going to the lake, watching the waves.
I love late spring, early summer as it’s time to plant a garden. There’s nothing like being out in nature to calm the nerves. You have the dirt that you’ve got your hands in and you can think about God and about how He is all around us. Then you plant the plant or seed, and can sit back and watch as it grows and eventually produces food for you.
Last summer was the first year I had a BIG garden and at first I thought nothing is going to happen. But I got into a ritual of going out to my garden every day and I could see the progress. It was relieving my stress and I felt good about what was happening. They even say that weeding is a stress reliever. Even through a tornado my garden survived!! So I know that my problems can be taken care of in “my” garden if a tornado can cause destruction, but still my garden survived through it.
My therapy is having a garden where I can be closer to God (in nature) and I can watch as I can see food that we will have that has come from a seed with love and attention from my own hands can relieve anything that is going wrong around me. Some times I just go into my garden to get away from the world. In my garden is my sanctuary, I guess you would call it.
~Peace~

I am wondering what kind of garden you are raising. In a time of natural calamities, your garden survive. Why is it survived? Because God has protected it, because of your unwavering faith of God's greatest love and mercy. It is the faith that makes everything possible.
Believe it or not with that kind of faith, coupled with a prayer of faith, it is for sure you will be having a garden of Eden figuratively speaking.
