My list of top 3 rappers of all time

I am pretty sure that there is someone between your friends that listens to rap songs. If you are fan of rap songs, then I am pretty sure you have opened debate about who is the greatest rapper of all time? This question can heat up the tension between loyal fans of Eminem, 2Pac and many other rappers, and has caused many friendships to burn in flames.  There are many factors as what decides what makes a rapper labeled as number one and win that royal prize. Personally I think the main reason is depending on what you listen and what you want to listen. Some people want to listen songs about expensive cars, drugs, hoes and other every day lyrics.. While other people want to listen to rappers like 2PAC, that spent their whole life rapping about the reality of this world, poverty, bad relations between parents and many more.

But what really makes a rapper the greatest? The answer is very simple. His unique singing voice, the track and flow of the song, and the most important hard hitting lyrics that make you rewind the song and press continuously the replay button.

This is my personal top 3 all time best rappers list.

3. Biggie

The notorious Big or better known as Biggie is arguably indeed one of the greatest rappers in the modern era, that inserted his wild and gangster lifestyle in the East coast. He is the central figure of the East coast and had a big influence over back then former’s rap. For some people he is consistently ranked as number one and as the most influential rapper of all time.

Biggie started rapping from youngest age, since he was a teenager. He went from a silly teenager that used to sell cracks on a street to one of the greatest rappers in the modern era. Biggie’s first album name was called Ready to die, and at the same year his album was released, he married Faith Evans in 1994.

But of course Biggie is best known for his specific heated relationships with Tupac Shakur. Best example to visualize that is Notorious Big’s song “Who Shot  Ya” as a provocation to the latter shooting of Tupac Shakur. But when 2PAC survived the shots, he came back on the stage with a reply song to Biggie, later known as “Hit ‘Em Up” where he explains that biggie’s punks shot him, but they didn’t finish him so now they about to feel the wrath of the menace. This song became the most popular 2 pac song, it even highly passed over that one of Biggie.

2. Tupac Shakur

Tupac Shakur, or better known as 2PAC among the crowd, is definitely one of the best rappers in the world. He died too early, but left a career that astounded millions of people that have heard his released songs and albums.

As of 2007 2PAC has sold over 75 million records worldwide which had passed over the ones of Notorious Big.  Shakur started his career as a break dancer for the alternative hip hop group called Digital Underground.  2 PAC is mostly known for his heated relationships with Biggie, and how the East-West Coast rivalries influenced the relationship  between these two legends.

Tupac Shakur career ended tragically for him, and too early when he was fatally shot in a drive-by shooting on the ominous night of 7th September 1996th year. He was taken to local hospital, but it was announced that the world lost a great legend 6 days later.

1. EMINEM

Eminem, Marshall, Slim Shady.. call him as you want, he is the greatest rapper of all time for me. Simply because his songs are heart touching and when this legend raps, he doesn’t rap about expensive cars, hoes, money or anything. Instead he raps about his lovely daughter Hailie Mathers, his relations with his ex-wife, and the difficulties raising up with only 1 parent (his mother).

Eminem lyrics are meaningful and they are not chit-chat just to publish a song. But most of the people love Eminem because his songs make them believe that anything is possible if wanted strongly enough.
