My Favorite cricket match **Vol. 2 **

Second in my list of my Favorite cricket match is another, New Zealand and Pakistan match, played in AMI Stadium, Christchurch, New Zealand on 10^th Jan, 2004.

It is the third one day international of the series with series tied at 1-1 with 3 more games to play.

New Zealand won the toss and decided to bowl first, so Pakistan will bat first. Pakistan made some changes in their 11 and this is now their 11 looks like that:

Shoaib Akhtar, Mohammad Sami, Shoaib Malik, Mohammad Yousuf,Inzamam-ul-Haq (c), Abdul Razzaq, Yasir Hameed, Imran Farhat, Azhar Mahmood, Moin Khan (wk), Saleem Elahi

As New Zealand also lost their 2^nd match, so they also made some changes and this is how their team is looking now : Stephen Fleming (c), Chris Cairns, Hamish Marshall, Craig McMillan, Scott Styris, Jacob Oram, Brendon McCullum (wk), Kyle Mills, Daryl Tuffey, Daniel Vettori, Craig Cumming

Pakistan made a Good start to this innings and with the help of Abdul Razzaq and Salim Ellahi posted a total of 255 runs at the loss of 9 wickets in allotted 50 over’s, Abdul razzaq made quick fire 50 in just 26 balls with 4 fours and 3 sixes at the strike rate of 192 and Salim Elahi made highest 80 runs in 103 balls with 8 fours and 1 sex at the strike rate of 78.

New Zealand requires to made 256 in 50 over’s.

New Zealand openers batted superbly, both Hamish marshall and Step. Fleming made good contribution and New Zealand went on to win this game with 22 balls to spare and Stephen Fleming was the Man of the match for his knock of 115 runs in 135 balls with 13 fours and ham. Marshall made 64 in 75 balls with 5 fours at the strike rate of 85. So this win has New Zealand lead in the series of 2-1 with 2 more games to play. Pakistan bowled very badly and leaked many runs.
