Movie Review – “The Interview”

How many of you watched “The interview”?  Please wait before you reply because this movie was never released in cinema halls for a simple reason, the North Korean dictator was shown in low light in this movie therefore it became an instant controversy.

The Interview is a June 2014 movie in English and Korean languages which was produced almost two years before. I was very much surprised to read so much about the movie ‘The Internet’. No, I have not seen it yet but I will try to find it on YouTube as it will probably not be released in cinema halls.

Sony has already release it on the internet after the cinema halls in the US have refused to release it after the warnings issued by North Korean hackers. But Internet has a new job, thanks to movie The Interview a comedy film acted, story and directed by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg.

For the movies lovers, ‘The Interview’ the movie that is said to have ridiculed Kim Jong-un the North Korean big boss taking over his father’s job since 2011 has been a blessing in disguise for internet. You can imagine the number of people visiting YouTube all over the world by the fact that in India only more than 80 million people visit YouTube every month.

Now imagine the business ‘The Interview’ is getting after release on YouTube movies, Google Play Store, Microsoft’ Xbox video and website of the movie itself. I will not go into the controversy part of the movie but it will give a new job to internet for sure.

Internet has a new job, thanks to movie “The Interview”. However, it would be worth mentioning here that the North Korean government warned the United States that they will take action if Columbia Pictures released the film. Columbia Pictures had taken an action and delayed and re-edited the movie “The Interview”
