I haven’t ever donated blood. I am skeptical if I am eligible for donating blood, because more than 16 years ago I undergo blood transfusion because of n operation.
I really want to donate blood too, so in that way, I can help people needing blood transfusion of my blood type . I am blood type B.

Donating Blood reflects the personality of a person in the society. It enhances the status of a man/woman At the same
time gives him a good health.There are certain safeguards to follow before donating the blood as also inspecting the blood of the donors for the presence of diseases, infection, and cancerous cells is needed. That is why Doctors will not accept the donation of blood from each and every person. They also see if the donor is having sufficient blood to donate or not. Otherwise, they do not accept his donation. After donating the blood one is expected to have a good diet for speedy recovery.
My brother-in-law who happened to be from Army has donated his blood for 100 times so far and has been awarded a Gold medal by the former President of India late Sri Abdul Kalam Azaad. Even today he feels proud of having a photograph along with late Sri. Abdul Kalam, the former President of India.

I love papaya. I can eat about 5 big slices of it in one sitting. It’s a very delicious fruit actually.
Though, it is said that we should just eat in moderation and that goes for every food much more papaya, which is said to be a laxative. So, eating much of it can really make you go to the bathroom.

My kids love papaya very much. We love to served them the cheapest local fruit, i.e papaya and banana.
Oranges and apples, other imported fruits are getting expensive.
They love its taste,and can finish about 4-5 slices as@Dina, haha!
Luckily, the price of papaya is going down recently, after entering 2017. The last few months of 2016, the price shot up to about MYR4(USD1) per KG, made me feel a bit tension about the cost and budget.

It is a well known saying anything beyond limit turns out to be a poison.
Papaya is good fruit from the health point of view. It develops immune system of the body. Effectively provides protection from cancer. Because it is rich in fiber content it actually is a very good fruit that works against indigestion and provides good bowel movement. It is a good nourisher of the skin. The papaya face pack is preferred b both men and women. It gives a glow to the skin.
It is also capable of melting down the stones in the kidneys.
The only precaution one has to take is that it should not be preferred by women when they are pregnant.

That is a long narrative of the history of the Great Wall of China. I am happy to be able to read its history and why and how it came to be.
Certainly, if I ever visit China, I will go there to see this one of the 7 wonders of the world. Can we take pictures while we are there at Great Wall of China?

This is the first time i have read about the great wall on china in so much detail. I loved to read the underlying facts. I cant wait for the day i will be able to see it.
Are normal tourists allowed to explore the entire stretch?

I cannot think of any other point that you have left out. It is a perfect description of everything that is important to live a happy life.
But the reality of life is real hard. Daily commitments and responsibilites leave personal care far behind. To try to practice all this one really needs to be calm, content and focussed.

Those things are really what should be done in order to really love ourselves. When we love ourselves, we will not let other hurt us. We can even be happy just being by ourselves.
Me, because our daughter is in a far city having her residency as a doctor in a posh hospital, and my hubby is still at work, after our dismissal from work at 6:30 in the evening, would go to the mall and go malling alone. I love that. When I get tired and hungry, I eat at a fastfood the foods I so like.
That’s one way of loving myself. And I am happy for that.

Well said i couldn’t have said it any better. In life the very first thing we need to do is love ourselves, because that is where it all begins. We cannot begin to live other people and other things before we live ourselves. Like we all day charity begins at home, it all starts with you.
Living oneself will open the avenues to living other things. I know there are many people who struggle with accepting who they are simply because of the movies they watch, or the magazine’s that they read, or posters that they see. One thing that don’t realize is that all those things are fabricated just to sell. When we are created we are created in our own unique way, there is no way your going to look exactly like someone. Whatever you have is yours so it’s up to you to make it better and prettier don’t ever look at yourself any less. You are still beautiful in your own way. I can say for myself that i love myself very much and no matter what anybody says, that does not bother me because I love who I am.

Running was never my cup of tea. It really always leaves me breath and craving for oxygen .
Well i love to walk and all your points stand perfectly well for walking as well.
I love to walk with a friend or while listening to music. The fact that im burning my calories and losing weight make me happy while walking.
I have installed a pedometer and make it a point to walk 10,000 steps each day.

Smoking is really a bad habit. The habit is bad because it is bad personally as well as socially. If affects you and also your nearby people making everything contaminated. While the former is active smoker the latter is a passive smoker.
If you inhale only tobacco as an active smoker, your nearby will inhale all that you exhale which include both the tobacco as well as the bad bacteria of yours which is even more dangerous. Smoking in public places, therefore, is not at all advisable.
What is the peculiarity with the smoking habit? Once you stop smoking your nerves and the blood cells freak out to have one more. This is here every smoker undesirably is forced to have it.
There are no effective ways or tools that prove helpful to dispense with the habit. The only effective way is a strong decision to stop it once and for all.
There are varieties of smokers in the category. There are people who smoke cigarettes having a filter, some prefer cigarettes with no filter, Some Cigars, some other prefer to have raw tobacco, and some BEEDIES. Among all preferring Cigarettes with filter is highly dangerous.
Though, some companies have introduced e-cigarettes (Vep Pen) to the market the results are not up to the expected level.

yes. Good habits make us healthy. A healthy body means a healthy and sound mind. A healthy mind thinks and acts but not the reverse. Good habits will always make you perfect in almost everything. What are the good habits may sometimes raises a big debate also. But, generally accepted good habits are;
1. Getting up early;
Getting up early means one should have sufficient time of sleep also and for which he has to take his sleep early.So, it always implies
2. Go to bed early: this is for getting up early after having sufficient hours of sleep.
3. Sleep: How much sleep? 8-10 hrs of sleep is a must for good health. It improves the vision and keeps the brain and mind cool.
4. Drinking at least a litre of water (preferably warm water + Lemon) as soon as once we get up early in the morning. It gives and boosts up our system and make us ready to take the activity of Jogging as it should never be done with an empty stomach.So, this drink gives necessary bowel movements and also the minimum energy needed for the workout.
5. Jogging: Jogging should always be done starting with slow steps. Most of the people just start moving as soon as they come out of the house which is not advisable.
One should also know that Jogging should be done in the evenings during the summer season and early in the morning during the winter season. (I will explain in my blog)The above being some of the good habits, drinking alcohol, smoking, should be dispensed with or should be at the minimum level of consumption.
Taking head bath with cool water is one of the good habits and most of the brain, skin, and hair related problems can be overcome by this habit.
Doing meditation just for 2 minutes/ breathing exercise just for 2 minutes before taking head bath is another good habit which needs to be added to the To-Do list.

Each person has a unique body system but certain universal rules like having good sleep, eating fresh fruits, eating home made foods, avoiding junk foods, avoiding eating something too hot or too cold, avoiding eating stale food, rest, relaxation and recreation all form important part of keeping diseases at bay.
But a few people are prone to certain health issues and need special supplements may be natural or even some medicines may be needed as there are no alternatives left. Eating citrus fruits builds immunity, a spoon of honey is also good, putting a bark of cinnamon in a glass of water in the night and drinking the water in the morning is good for ones bladder and kidneys, keeping a clove in ones mouth after meals and after washing ones mouth and chewing the same also kills many bacteria.

I do that. I add some slices of cabbage and carrots to Instant Noodles and also add one egg. Besides, I don’t pour all the seasonings in a small packet that goes with it.
I also would add some drops of sesame oil only because only a drop can already make the noodles so tasty. As to the spicy seasoning in a separate poctket, I only pour about 1/3 of it so it will not be too spicy.
Sometimes we should just strategize on how to make instant noodles a bit healthy.

I wonder why there is wax coating? on the noodles itself? or else? I remembered I keep saying :”Mee” and Dina asked what is mee?
It’s a local language, Malays in Malaysia meant noodles.
I do that as well when cooking instant noodles. First, cook the noodles and throw away the water, use a bowl of fresh water for cooking the soup.
Second, add some veges and egg to increase the nutrient consumption, either fibres and some meats as well.
The more important, not take the cup noodles which require the consumer to boil the hot water into the plastic cup, which will erase some chemical and harmful things from the plastic cup itself.
Last but not least, better not eat the instant noodles so frequently. We can buy some fresh noodles and some dried noodles and keep at home. And, to make a soup, we might not need the MSG, but some meats, egg and veges can make the soup taste well without MSG.
