@Lola ,The Dentist will not ask, but will just let you open your mouth and check your problematic tooth. This is based on my experienced , before my wisdom tooth was extracted, I was told to take medicine good for 3 days and in the 3rd day I went to the clinic and my wisdom tooth was so easy to pull. I never experienced pain. It just bled , but no pain.

how about what are the side effects of the medications and what you shouldn’t eat or drink.
When you are in pain, should you take pain killers?
Under what condition you have to seek the doctor’s help?
How much it cost?
Any after treatments?

@Lola Unless there are complications I suppose any dentist could do that job for you without any difficulty.

In the next two weeks I’m going to be interviewing two surgeons for when I finally decide to have my wisdom teeth taken out sometime in the future. Right now the first one I’m interviewing has the lead in my head, as she’s a female and I always tend to do better with female doctors. The male doctor though is the best in our city at oral s…[Read more]

while most medications are expected to be taken after meal, yes there are some cases where it has to be taken before meal or before bedtime.
Anyway, what choice do we have if it is a serious illness?
thanks for your share

yeah you are right if the illness is crucial.
Common sickness should avoid medications but not cardiovascular diseases, diabetes and etc.
Only medications could keep the illness at bay.
Yes, side effects on the organs too

a quack doctor or not, your mommy is clever to use traditional method for any common sickness, isn’t she?
The vicks trick is very common among the ladies.
As for the cough syrup you had mentioned, now that one I had never heard of.
Instead, my mom used to buy a chinese cough syrup made from herbal…[Read more]

You are definitely right about it

actually, I also used the tips you had listed out too.
Except for the milk and honey.
Really, does it work ?

good point of view.
Everytime the doctor gives me the medication, I was told by my hubby to look up on the websites what are the medications for and what are the side effects.
Once, my son had eye sore. The doctor gave me ear ache drops instead.
Nope, I didn’t give it to my son because I had checked out…[Read more]

i heard that ginger ale is good to keep the nausea down.
Good thing that your doctor refused to give you anti biotic.
It actually kills all your good and bad antibodies.
Might as well cure yourself with those tips and tricks you had practiced.

They wouldn’t give me any antibiotics last time I had a cold or whatever it was. I went home and decided to drink herbal tea, chicken soup, drink lots of water and gargle with salt water and soak in a warm bath and breath the warm moist air. Got lots of rest and before long I was okay again.
In the meantime I spent time with my wife, watching…[Read more]

They say a cold takes 7 days to cure with medicines or 1 week without. (lol)
I normally apply vicks and that helps me a lot.

We are not used to take medicine right away when we are caught by a cold or flu. My late mother was the best quack doctor whom we fondly called her. She was really best in providing remedies for any discomfort we may experience when we were kids before.
For a common cold, she served us a hot calamsi. She boiled also water mixed with a pinch of…[Read more]

For example, you have a cold, runny nose or flu.
Do you look up for home remedies and practice them?
Do you visit the doctor and take the prescribed medicines?
When I have a flu or runny nose, I would mix cinnamon sticks with honey, boil in 2 cups of water.
Before I sleep, I would mix 1 tbsp of VICKS vaporub with warm water and inhale the…[Read more]
