cely wrote a new post, I Go To The Sea When A Problem Harasses Me 7 years, 8 months ago

I need the fresh air and ebb tides to comfort me. The sea is my comfort zone especially during lonely moods when I am alone when even crickets dare not to come nearer me to tune in their tingling music. Only the […]

    • I love the sea, I love swimming and jogging to ease some burdens of life and to feel the beauty of nature.

    • Yes when one is near the sea all to himself looking at the waters and the tides it calms ones frayed mind. It will be hectic at work and interacting with students, teachers and others including parents. Hence there is some me time required to keep oneself sane and be ready for the work the next week. It is good to jog in the sand as it makes ones muscles strong as it is difficult to run in the sand.

One can also observe tiny crabs and other creatures wash ashore and dig holes and go into the sand quickly once the sea returns back after washing the shore only to come back again and leave some more creatures for us to see observe and enjoy. One can also learn a lot from the waves as they are relentless and never rest and are active 24×7 for all 365 days of the year. Interesting blog.

    • You are so fortunate to always go to the sea, maybe you are living near a beach? That’s wonderful specially during summer where everyone wanted to have a dip and swim in our beautiful seas.

The sea, mountain, and nature itself are reinvigorating. This has scientific basis. I also love the sea, and while there, I can imagine a lot of things as I admire its beauty.

    • @Krishna Kumar , hahahaha, you are carried away with some moods of my blog at the sea scenario. Yes, you are right my friend that it is hard to jog in the sand , rough and heavy to feel. Try to jog in rubber shoes and your feet surely floats like wind kicking the tiny leaves down to the rugged sand of the rugged shore. You are also right that while we are at sea, we can see shy small crabs that keep on going in and out of its tiny hole its abode to escape some hungry humans ready to throw them onto charcoal so red hot so it could right away cook crabs, lol.

It is so awesome to be in beach and people seem enjoying a lot though there is sound of the waves, they also compete the sound with the rock and mellow songs from their karaoke. What a funny scene at sea.

    • I feel the cool air here this morning at home. When I open the windows I look at the sea, I see its waves and hear the roaring tide of the ocean. How nice if there is no work today for I surely soak myself to sea,

cely wrote a new post, Is Cheating During Examination In The Classroom Considered A Crime? 7 years, 8 months ago

I do not know if you would agree with this conclusive statement of most teachers in the academe that cheating during examination is a crime. This time teachers notice that students do not like to study. There are […]

    • It’s a pity the student was given the chance to pass the subject but he cheated. Students nowadays are exposed to so many temptations like playing computer games all day without thinking of their future.

Poor mother, she could not do anything in such a situation.

    • It is a crime to cheat during the exams. One has to be first be truthful to himself or herself, his parents and to the school. If he is interested in deviant behavior like the one he indulged in there are better places for him to be in and to face the consequences he should when caught there. A school is a place where one is taught to be good and lead a hard working life and enjoy success through studies and then writing exam and passing with flying colors.

If these children are interested in doing all these things other than studying then school is a wrong place for them. They are unfit to be in school. This also show bad parenting. If parents were keeping an eye on their child and taking care of his education needs and checking the status. Then he would not be facing the situation in which he is in today. Cheating is a crime because if one cheats and gets good scores. The others who study and try their best and get less scores than the cheater end up being the losers which is not fair to them.

    • @Krishna Kumar, Very well said my friend, yes cheating is a crime for if it cannot be stopped by the student himself will get used to cheat and when he becomes professional through cheating, he can never depart from it for he will surely like to do a short cut.The students who keep on cheating will never pass during the board examination. It will be too late for them to regret when they are already in the exam room during the board exam. The parents must always communicate with their sons and daughters to encourage them to do right and they need to inspire their children too.

    • Cheating is not a crime in the sense that you likely won’t get arrested and put in jail for it. But it is in a sense a crime because of what it can lead to. Consider this. Do you want a surgeon operating on you who cheated on his exams when he or she was in med school? Do you want a police officer who cheated on his exams at the academy serving and protecting you when it’s clear he lacks integrity and honesty?

    • Legally and technically speaking, while cheating in any school examination may be deem or consider grounds for expulsion under school academic policy it is not a “crime” as this legal term is understood under the Criminal Law.

While it may be true that cheating in any exams is morally wrong or immoral for being dishonest to oneself, to the teacher, to the classmate and to the academic institution or school where one belong to, it can never be consider a crime until and unless there is a law passed by the government declaring the “act of cheating” in any exams to be a crime and providing a corresponding penalty for it.

No act or omission is considered a crime unless there is a law declaring such act or omission to be a crime.

In the actual given situation, there is no law being cited declaring cheating to be a crime.

If cheating is really a crime, then aside from being expelled from the school, the school authorities could have filed a criminal case before the police authorities or the prosecutor’s office against the students involve for the “crime of cheating”, but no such thing happened in this case.

It stand to reason therefore, that cheating in any school examination is merely a violation of the school or academic policy or school manual but not necessarily a crime by itself and in itself.

kaylar wrote a new post, Stupidity; not a lack of education 7 years, 8 months ago

Something happened.  I went to explain it to the ‘helper’ at the office.    Carl was in the hospital.   I was telling the helper about this tragedy, but she had to wash the dishes.

Now, you catch the funny lit […]

    • Okay first and foremost let me just correct you a bit. No one is stupid it’s just that we are all different and we all act in different ways. There are people who are quick to solving issues, and there those that take time to digest and think of ways to solve the issue. We were all made differently. Maybe the way I do things is not the same way you will do yours, the way I will react to issues is not the same way you will react, there are some things that may be a priority to you that are not to me so with all this examples we cannot conclude that someone is stupid because they were not able to behave or react in a certain manner. I remember i us3d to have a girl who used to help me around the house, she used to be so slow. When you told her to do something she would repeat after you whatever you said and that used to make me so mad, but i would still listen to her and give her instructions slowly by slowly one after another. You could not tell her to do like three things at a go because she could not multitask. Sometimes I used to feek feel like I would tell her to just leave whatever she’s doing get out and not come back. But obviously I couldn’t that would be too inhuman. But you the irony is that even with that slowness she had two kids that she took care of and I didn’t have any at time. So if she had the ability to take care 9f two kids would we still call her stupid? Mmmmmhh that’s something to think about right? Check this out we have two categories of people those who are
      1 Learned and
2 Educated. The difference between the two is that learned people are those who can be given a situation to solve and they will think with their minds, think outside the box and come up with a solution. And the educated are those who have to use some sort of manual or books for that matter to get a solution to a problem. You see the difference.

    • Let me indicate this; there is such a thing as stupidity. As Einstein said, it is infinte. To be so politically correct to pretend it doesn’t exist is rather like calling a person starving to death a ‘dieter’.
The ability to prioritise has always been a hallmark of intelligence. There are things every one of us has on the ‘to do’ list.
If there is a fire in the kitchen, for example, sorting the clothing to be washed should be stopped and the fire put out.
The fact that the helper is not intelligent is evident in all aspects. I only focus on this one because it is so obvious that a normal intellect would hear a mutual friend was in the hospital and react, not wash the dishes.
The difference is not ‘learned’ and ‘educated’ the difference is between intelligent and stupid.
Whether you have a Ph.D or have never been to school is not the measure. Intelligence is the measure.
