Prayer is what helps through the diagnosis of Lupus and trying to stay positive. Thinking about things that offer us joy will help us get through it. My grandmother died from breast cancer and she suffered but she stayed strong. We will go through health issues and the best way to deal with them are to keep our minds filled with good things. Have…[Read more]

Sorry, having issues with my computer this morning & I ended up putting the comment in the wrong place…
These are great ideas to make the cleanup fun! Worth sharing 😀
Celery is a staple for us in our house. I have two children who love to munch on it raw, and we include the aromatic in many of the foods we cook too. I can often go through two or more big bunches of celery in a week, and if I am doing a lot of cooking I will ask my husband to bring four bunches at once.

Have you been eating this kind of aromatic veggie? We call this in our country as “kintsay“.
I have been eating celery for three weeks now. When I am running out of stock, I wait for Saturday which is our market to buy it. I buy one plant or bunch which consists of four or five stalks and it costs Php170 ($4). It is rarely grown in our place.…[Read more]

@scheng1 I agree, lack of sleep, longer sleep, late sleeping and not sleeping could be factors to make a person lazy, so they are not able to do something that makes them healthy that leads them to getting fat.

@grecy095 For most people here in Singapore, it is the lack of sleep plus the lack of exercise that make them fat.
They have to eat more sweet things to make up for the lack of sleep.

In some cases taking a lot of sleep makes people fat. My doctor advised me to only sleep for 6-7 hours a day, not too long to avoid headache. If you will sleep more than the required, then you are lazy, lol. In some cases, being fat is associated to sleeping too long as some people sleep late at night, then they will sleep more than the required…[Read more]

@Grecy Garcia It is just not fatigue but a sick mind could lead to other ailments. It is therefore necessary that equal importance is given to a sick mind.

I agree, if you are not feeling well, how could you think? If you can’t think because your brain is tired, how can you able to perform. It works on tandem. It should be correlates to each other. They work as teamwork in order to be successful in getting your goal.

@peachpurple It will take years before one accepts mental illness as just another illness and discuss it as we would talk about having a cold.

I remember when I was a boy scout. I was asked by my scout master to recite scout’s oath and law. In the scout’s oath, it says “mentally awake and morally straight.” As a boy scout, I should be always ready to have always presence of mind so as to avoid any accident or to get away with any danger. However, when regards to our overall personality,…[Read more]

Taking a lot of sleep doesn’t make a person fat. According to my reading, people become fat because they have a quiet kind of living. They never have time to exercise, to do some works that they get perspired. People who don’t move everyday, meaning doing a lot of body’s effort like brisk walking, running and playing are possible to become obese.…[Read more]
