    How did I end up as an unwanted caregiver to an elderly member of my family? That is a big question, and I also wonder how that option passes the ultimate judgment of my family members…
    Wonders never end in my […]

    • Hello;

      This is a global question of how to care for our elderly and as people seem to be living longer and the need is ever present you are not alone.

      In the US we call it the “sandwich generation.” Those who care for children and their parents (or other family members). You are an exception and an exceptional person to care for a non family elder. Congratulations, you are blessed and cursed with being a Great Person.

      Care for yourself first, as you are no good to others if you are not cared for. Take this opportunity to give your children a life lesson in selflessness. Learn from your elder what they have learned in life. And when their journey through this life is over you will have been part of their walk. Part of their life and will reap the emotional and intellectual benefits.

      Be an example. You are a star.

    • If the USA (or any nation) has or had the power to act on behalf of the innocents for this egregious inhumane and horrific attack, then they are morally obligated to step up to the plate and start swinging. If a leader can use chemical weapons on his own citizens, what would he do to those people he believes are his enemies? Assad is scary!

      • What shocks me, is that many of his blabbering supporters are upset about it. To me, well… I expected it. I don’t know why, but it was like, when I heard the news it was like hearing ‘due to the flooding, a state of emergency was called’.

        I would have assumed anyone who supported/voted for Trump would expect a reaction, would assume there will be something like this in North Korea.

    • I pity the people of Syria especially the children!

      • Civil wars are always the worst. And neither side will stop and even if it stops, the resentment will last for generations.

    • The bottom line is what you think and not what other people think. That’s why it is very important for someone to have wisdom, because that is what is going to direct your footsteps in everything you do. We all have a mind of our own, when someone tells you something, do you just go ahead and do whatever they tell you to do? I guess not. If you know what is right then you will think about what you are told and weigh your options. You will then decide whether to take it in or not. In life there are many advicers people will tell you all sorts of things but it will be up to you to make a decision or a choice. Because not everyone who advices you has a good motive towards your life. Others may give you advice that will ruin you instead of building you up so people really need to be careful with the people they are dealing with on a daily basis.
