Yes.  I am also a newbie.  It has been told that we get 0.015$ for a blog post of around 500 words.  If the blog is over 500 words we get paid 0.22 $.  We do get paid for commenting like this.

I have not tried posting a lengthy comment.  I write less than 100 words.  Even then we get paid for this,  In this forum we are expected to write…[Read more]

These days there are some of the shop keepers giving out the plastic bag. And some are giving out the paper bag. I think paper bag made from the newspaper or the handmade paper can be good. But it may require a lot of money to buy such bags. As the plastic ones are known for the pollution. Maybe people can spend more money and buy the paper bag.…[Read more]

Mahesh wrote a new post, Advantages Of Social Media That You Don’t Know 7 years, 8 months ago

Social media is not just another distraction tool. Instead it can be really helpful for you when it comes to managing your brand, personal life and other noise on the web. There are plenty of sites coming out […]

    • The first thing that attracts me to social media , is my getting in touch with long lost former classmates in high school. Lately, I am trying to locate my former classmates in elementary.

Then, I am able to also see what our daughter and her boyfriend are posting at FB, which they rarely do now, because they are always busy at the hospital.

Another thing, is I get to see the places where my friends abroad are now living.

I also feel so happy if I am able to share a funny picture or qoutes that earned a lot of likes. 🙂

    • An interesting article covering the different ways we can benefit from the use of technology. Technology is a important thing today whether one likes it or not and if one wants to stay connected and be in the party one has to be technologically savvy. And should know how to use different technologies in a useful way maintaining a fine balance between use and misuse of technology. If used in the right way it can prove to be a blessing in disguise and if not used properly it can lead to problems too. It depends on the person using it to spot the good things in technology and use it effectively thus taking the maximum benefit out of its use. In that direction the above article is very useful and informative.

    • What you mentioned are the positive effects of the social media. It is true; especially on getting in touch with people you love; relatives, friends, etc. It is also a medium where people can conduct an online business. It is a good start for first time entrepreneurs.

    • For me the advantages of social media is that I’ve made friends with people from all around the world. I would have never met them otherwise because I don’t travel any more.

I have found myself losing a lot of money on forex. So I decided never to get into forex trading. A lot of people have known to make you think that it works. But in reality it does not work at all. And the worst part of this is that you’d find yourself that forex is just another scam stuff. Not denying that some people make money through it. I think as long as one has family it matters. Not having family can be bad. No having kids can be even bad. Not having anyone to call family is worst. I think based on that experience I can tell you small or big family does not matter. You just need to have few people around. I wonder how many people who do not  have would appreciate having a…[Read more]

It is something I say all the time, repeat all the time, and can give long lists of errors made by people who ‘take back’ someone they broke up with, or who broke up with them.

In 99.999999% of the cases it […]

    • I agree. Especially, if you separated from your husband because he beats the wife, physically and verbally.

There are a lot of cases here in the Philippines, where the woman separated from her husband because of that. Then, the husband would ask for another chance and the woman would go back, because of their children who wants them back together.

Sad to say, that the man beats her again physically and verbally.

Now, she has to file a complaint and have her husband imprisoned. That should be what is to be done for a husband who beats his wife.

      • When a woman marries an abusive man, he often so destroys her sense of herself, she second guess her actions. Because her confidence is shaken, she makes the mistake of letting him back into her life for dire consequences.

    • Trump has always been true to his character even before he became US president. His flaws was always there to see for anyone who bothered to pay attention. For Trump it was “ME,ME,ME First!” During the presidential campaign he use “bait and switch” tactics promising the electorate things he had no intention to fulfill. Unfortunately for him the general public is getting tired of his childish antics and Trump’s credibility continues to erode. He’s like the boy who cried “wolf”.

      • He is a spoiled brat who cares for no one but his pocket. The people who voted for him still try to support him, despite his childishness, and stupidity.

    • I think, Trump has really been like that indeed since he was a child. And being rich, he doesn’t accept that he commits mistakes, but others committed it.

It’s sad that America has chosen a president who only knows how to make some escapes for the failures he is now making in his governance of the country.

But I hope, the people will unite and he will have a change of heart and hear what the majority wants to improve the country and work together for the good of the country.

      • No, I think those people who supported him are so stupid they will follow him off the cliff. I don’t see anything positive coming out of his presidency.

    • This book does sound like a great read. It also sounds like a simple read. Sometimes I avoid sci-fi books because they seem complicated. Also science fiction is not my favorite book genre. I like historical romance. 🙂

      • It is a great read and isn’t that simple. There are many relationships between the people, and events. If you start it you will finish it.

    • The kids should be supervised as to what they are playing. Violent games have the tendency to corrupt the child’s mind and be one also if he keeps on playing it.

That is because, he also wants to put it into action the violent things that the protagonists would do in the video games he plays.

Actually, the weird killings that students have done in the US can really be an ill effect of their playing these violent games on videos.

The parents should always be very vigilant into any change of behavior from being timid to overly aggressiveness of their children. When they notice that, they should talk with the child or better still have him checked up by a psychologist.

As it is said, prevention is better than cure. While early, it should be cured or treated or curbed.
