WOW! I’ve heard various complaints about HUBPages but this is my first time ever hearing this one. That’s a very sinister and devious trick. I find it hard to believe hopping HUBBERs would do that.
I know what “flagging” is for but I rarely use the feature. In fact, I can’t think of when I’ve ever used the feature unless it was to flag a comment that looked like spam or was offensive. As for published content by fellow writers and bloggers? I would have to think long and hard before I click on a flag.
I am extremely cautious about flagging a person’s content … that is to say their “hard work”. Especially flagging it so that I could steal it!
Of course, it should be easy to track the tricksters and expose them. Don’t you think?
At any rate, this is a matter HP management and staff should review thoroughly. Do you know if it has been reported to them? I should think they would want to examine and put a stop to it. It gives the entire site a bad reputation for allowing unethical behavior.

As long as they can fool people, they will thrive in their scamming activities! No one should believe such gimmicks!

When the Scam started, we felt that; “Hey America! Don’t blame us cause you have dumb people!”
But America didn’t feel like that. So we were punished. But I’m sure it is still going on.

It’s great that we have the Silent Era to look back on but I’m glad movies have sound now. Because if you didn’t know how to read during the Silent Era, you had to guess your way through the movie. A lot of people can’t read. They couldn’t read back then and many people can’t read even now. Sound movies are teaching tools as well as entertaining.

I agree with you that Golden days of writing online and earning has gone.. Lot of improvements has come in with Google adsense over the years.. Most of the sites today does have no matter, but they are earning something for engaging people on their sites for longer time… Google is paying for that reason.. Moderators are in turn passing the portion of their earnings to their most valued members for their contributions
