It is a shame that the writing sites are not what they used to be. I also thought Hubpages was a good site for those that were professional writers. I am not professional by a long shot so this site is really not for me. I am better at places like here or Blogjob.  What do people do that want to write? Do they just have to be a freelancer and hope to find clients? I am glad that I do not have to do this. I do not think I would be very good at it.

@kaka135  It seems most of the sites I am on now are low pay but if they pay it to me I am okay with it. I do not do things I do not like since I am not disciplined enough to work at it. I would rather enjoy what I am doing and get paid for it than to not like it and get paid.  I just wish I had the skills to work at something that would pay more money.  Mylot sounds like fun and I keep forgetting to check it out. Do you get credit for having a referral? If so, I can sign up under you. If I can ever remember to go there to sign up for it. Hehe

@kaka135  I am sure that you should be able to cash out on Ayuwage. You are so close to it now. I have not started the sale as expected since the weather was not cooperating. It was too cold and rainy for us to be out in, so we have postponed it until tomorrow. I am sure it will go good though. I am glad that you are taking advantage of the personal time you have now.  It is nice of your husband to take such good care of you and tell you to sleep. Hopefully, you will be able to cash out here and let us know how that goes.

I still have a few things to do on my list and hope that I can get at least half of it done. I am getting close on my cash outs. I have to wait for more ads on Ayuwage. Sorry that you got a warning but it will be gone usually in 24-48 hours. I am glad that you were able to take a good nap. You need your strength now for when the baby comes.

@peachpurple  Thank you for explaining that for me. I am not sure that I would be able to go that long confined to my bed with no shower. I am not sure that I would have liked not being able to see my baby for that long either.

@icybc  I am sorry about your tendonitis and not being able to post long comments. I hope that it can get better for you so you are not in so much pain. Sometimes, it is hard to make long comments and I understand about needing compensation for what you do  here. Maybe if you were to concentrate on sharing things here on social media it will get you better results. I have found that I can make more when I share than what I make on making posts or comments. I hope you will still pop in and say hi when you can.

@kaka135 Yes @peachpurple explained the confinement period very well. I think it is interesting to know the reasons behind why there customs such as this. I had never heard of it before. I am glad for you that your mother does not force you to do this if you do not want to.

I just made some fried chicken the other day and it was delicious. I love when it gets really crispy. I like to use coconut oil to fry it in and it has such a good flavor to it. My children love chicken and sometimes I will tell them they are going to turn into a chicken the way they eat it all the time. LOL  I need to make some chicken and rice soup since I have some leftover chicken from the other night. I loved it when my mother would do this with leftover chicken or turkey which ever one we would have.

I have had Krispy Kreme before and they are best when they are hot and fresh. Otherwise, they are sort of greasy. The one we had near me has closed down quite a while ago. I guess it just did not do well in this area for some reason. But is not a great loss to me as I did not really care for them. Dunkin Donuts are good but I have not had them in a long time either.

This is a good folk tale and there is truth in what it says. Gifts should be considered worthy as long as they are given in good faith and love. Whether it is something that you need or not is not the question, but whether the gift is given in friendship.

@peachpurple and @kaka135  As I was reading your comments, I was wondering what is “confinement” period after you have a baby? I am not familiar with this practice and was just curious. I like learning about different customs and such. I find it interesting.

I had C-sections with both of my children. I was induced twice with my first child because I was having issues with high blood pressure and they could not keep it down. Neither of the inducings worked so they had to take her out.

Yes, it could get confusing to remember the rules of the site when you are on different ones since they may have different rules. I tend to forget many things about what can and can’t be done. This is a good way of keeping up with the rules here since they can be changed at any time as well. Thanks for sharing this so we have easy access to the terms of service at LB.

I would probably give it a 4 since I do not find it user friendly. It is hard to navigate and I had a hard time figuring things out when I first joined. The pages load slow most of the thime and I do not like the fact that you cannot finish a draft that you saved unless you are a certain rank. But how do you get to that rank and what are the points that you need to achieve that rank? It would make more sense that you could save a draft and then finish it at a later time whenever you wanted to. I would like to have the word count while I am writing the blog post so that I do not have to paste it into a word document to find out the count.

The admin is prompt about addressing questions that we have in the forums so that is a huge plus in my book. I think this site has potential with a few tweaks, so that is why I only gave it a 4. But I have fun here and enjoy all the members.
