@melissa  It is a shame that this is happening to your children and others that share the same conditions. It is not right that she gets blamed and of course if you ask a child they are not going to readily admit that they were involved. That is just plain stupid to me. My daughter has ADD, anxiety. and depression. My son has OCD and depression. I am thinking that he also has ADD/ADHD. They go to a private school. I have a 504 written for my daughter so that she can have special accommodations when it comes to homework, testing, and writing. However, when everyone in the school had to do a test on the computer she was not given the accommodations like she was supposed to.

When I brought this up to her teacher that she did not test at the right levels, she told me she forgot about the accommodations because this is her first year teaching. If I had a mind to, I could have gotten the school in trouble with the state board. Luckily , we are moving and will not be at that school any longer.

My son seems to be singled out when getting into trouble. He does something or is talking like other students and he is the one that gets talked to or sent to the principal for it. He was hit in the back of the head by a heavy roll of paper ending up with a lump on his head and nothing happened to the girl that threw the paper at him. She apparently threw it twice but only hit him the once. On one occasion, my son threw a tiny piece of the broken lead from him pencil to the floor hitting no one and was sent to the principle. I know that my son is not perfect but he is not a trouble maker. He has problems controlling his emotions so instead of giving him alternatives to acting out they just punish him.

I think that as parents of children who do not fit properly in the hole that society has created for them they stand out for their differences and this makes them more noticeable than “normal” children who are pretty much invisible because of their normalcy. My daughter is much different than normal girls her age which is also 10 and I feel bad for her because I cannot protect her 24/7 from the cruelty of society but also proud of her because she has made huge strides in her life and because of her individuality. I am glad she does not fit the mold and hope that one day she will too.

I wish you luck with your daughter and hope that something will change in her situation at school.

@peachpurple  I cannot wait to read your post and see the colors you choose. I think your whole pen name would be too long and I was thinking that I was glad that my first name is not any longer. Five letters was definitely long enough for a blog post. LOL

@ruby3881  That is cool that your children’s names are flowers. I worked with a women whose name was Pansy and a friend’s friend was named violet. My friend used to call her purple to be funny. This makes me want to think of more people that I have known who have the names of flowers.

Maybe this would be a fun challenge to come up with a flower garden of your name. With the various flowers and their names it would not be too hard to do.

@ruby3881  Congratulations. I have heard of this but have no idea what type of site it is other than for writing. I am sure you are going to do great there and have no problem finding work there. Hopefully, it will work out well for you. Good luck.

I have no personal knowledge of this site but from what others are saying it seems that it may have changed for the better.

@peachpurple  I am sorry that you had this experience. It is not right for someone to copy and use your articles for their own gain. People just do not have a conscious about these types of things.

I am glad to hear that they no longer accept plagiarism and that they changed things there. Maybe it would be a good place to check out.

Where do you find out if you have referrals? I am sure that I do not but I would like to know where to look. I would be curious to know if someone did or not. I thought I might have one from Facebook but do not know if they joined.  For those that do have some I hope they get it straightened out that you can know who yours are and find the amounts that you earn from them.

I have not been writing long so I really do not have a favorite topic to write about. I like to read about earning money online and about different mental health issues. I love psychology so I like to read about that. My daughter has ADD so I read blogs about that as well.

I am not sure what the criteria is all about since my posts on “how to” did not get me that much and the word counts were high. For the last, “how to” I did was only $0.15 and the post I did on the colors in my name got me $0.18 and it was over 500 words. I guess it is better than nothing. I need to try something else to see what it gets me. I have been getting lots of visitors though and have nearly 1250 total for the month. I need to hurry up and get to the minimum so I can cash out before the 10th.

@peachpurple  If you save your draft, you will not be able to get into it to continue. This has happened to me the first post I was writing. Wish I would have known before I did that.

@bestwriter   These are great points about what would be nice to have on this site. I would also like to be able to know when people comment on our posts just like we do in the forums. I would like to be able to see the earnings for our blog posts separate from the other earnings since sometimes I have multiple pages of earnings from visitor referrals.

@ruby3881  thanks for the info. I had not tried to click on the link to see which post earned what amount. I will have to do that next time. I also did not think about going to activity to check for comments on posts. I was going to them individually, so this will save some time.

I have been tagging the authors of the posts I comment on but do not know if it works. I just figured it would do like when we do in our comments in the forums.

@kaka135   I am so glad that you and your baby are doing well and you are getting lots of rest. I am glad that you could get on here to say hello. Take care and hopefully, you will be back before we know it.

@ruby3881   I didn’t have a collection of Nancy Drew books but my elementary school had them all and I would check them out all the time. Funny thing that we were talking about the children’s classics and I was at a thrift store today since they were 50% off everything and guess what I found?  Lol I actually found one of them there. It was the Great Illustrated Classics Treasure Island. I hope my son likes it. I thought it was bizarre that we were just talking about them and there it was.

@ruby3881 Oh I remember those books. I am not sure that I read many of them though. When I was a child, I was more into Nancy Drew books. I will keep an eye out for them when I am at the library and even the thrift stores. You can find many older books at thrift stores and I am always looking in the book section.

@shaloowalia  Yes now they are paying more for SEO friendly posts and taking quality into consideration. There is a thread in the About LiteracyBase forums about this now. This is one of the changes they have made so you might want to check it out. It goes into a little bit more detail about it.

I have heard of Zazzle on another forum, but do not know anything about it personally. It sounds really fun though and it is nice that they print and ship it for you. I hope you like it and can make decent earnings from it.

I am bad at referrals since I do not have any friends who work online. I do have one on another site and that was because she wanted to join and offered to be my referral so I returned the favor and signed up under her on a different site. Other than that I am just doing all the work myself and on here I try to share everything so that I can get the referring visitor reward. So little by little people will visit and I will make a few cents. Win/win right? Lol

Well I submitted my post on the colors in my name. Glad my name wasn’t any longer. 🙂  A couple letters were hard but I got through it and found the colors to choose. I did the picture different and resized it with the edit button for the picture. I put it at 1200 x 600 and I hope that it does not turn out bad. We shall see. I wish we could edit after our posts are done.

@ruby3881  Loved your post as always. You have such a carefree way of writing and I find your topics enjoyable. Plus, I find them very informative. I loved doing this challenge and found it quite fun.
