    The Cynics
The cynics are people who are driven to insult or attack someone’s confidence. They’re experienced to try to create a scene so that they’re in a position to get what they want. Cynical people will say […]

    • there are many cynics people in the working industry.
They are have the common motive, to get rid of the weaker ones and dominate the workplace like a tyrant.

Yes, your tips are right and helpful to those people who are facing pressure over the critics of these cynics.
Actually, you could just pretend that they are dogs barking at the wrong tree

    • Talk about cynic and critical people, it’s nothing new yo me i have heard them in my life for the longest time. And I must say that are the hardest people to work around with just like you have said. And they can also be so annoying, you know like those kinds of people who always think that you can never be right about something? I really hate that attitude and they will always try and put you down or make you look so stupid when you say something. I learned that the best way to deal with them is ignoring what they say or what they try to portray and leave it as it is I never get into an argument. It will just get you mad

    • Yes, you say right how to deal with cynics and critics in practical life. Some people are by birth critics and cynics due to inborn habit they tease men and women by their cynical critical remarks everywhere at homes and out of homes.

Time and time again, creative people are given two pieces of advice: (1) Listen to your critics and seek feedback, but also (2) Ignore your critics and follow your intuition. Clearly, there’s a powerful contradiction here in need of reconciliation.

Criticism is doubt informed by curiosity and a deep knowledge of a discipline related to your work. Whether the criticism you receive is constructive or not, it comes from knowledge. Informed insights like “I’m not sure someone would ever pay that much” or “you may not want to outsource that given the high-touch required” may cause you to question your approach.

By contrast, cynicism is a form of doubt resulting from ignorance and antiquated ways. Industry experts will often express doubt based on an ingrained muscle memory of past experiences that handicaps their vision for the future. Cynical statements like,

“People will never read a book on a computer” or “Why would anyone want to put their rolodex online?” are famous doubts expressed by experts with handicapped vision.

Tanikka Paulk wrote a new post, How to Deal With Racism and Discrimination 8 years, 3 months ago

Racism is no thing of the past. Racism is alive and well. Unfortunately there’s a certain group that believe the world belongs to just that specific race. Impossible. God didn’t create one race. If He wanted one […]

    • racsim happens everywhere, not only in america but asian countries too.
The problem is the government, the prime minister who are in favor of this unfairness that had caused the public to be like this.

    • Racism might still be present up to this day but the development of erasing this have been in good rating. Unlike before, people have the voice now.

    • Racism is the “Hatred” of one person by another, based on the belief that that person is inferior because of their skin color, language, customs, place of birth, or other similar traits.Racism has existed throughout human history, often providing justification for one group’s dominance over another.

Most people, even if they do not approve of overt racism, nonetheless have some kind of prejudice against another group of people, and these prejudices can lead to hurt, anger, and even violence at both the personal and societal levels. Overcoming your own racism requires a personal long journey,

I think we must take these steps to stop racism all over the world as
Self-assess. An important first step in your personal journey to overcome racial prejudice is to take stock of yourself. …
      Research the topic. …
      Stop using racial slurs. …
      Avoid cultural appropriation. …
Be vigilant about systemic and invisible racism. …
      Engage in mental exercises.
Racism is nothing but hallucination of mind and springs from jealousy and reed springs from evil past and inferiority complex and nothing else as I have studied.

We’ve all been there. You see or hear something racist and you want to say or do something but you’re not sure how to go about it.

It takes guts to stand up to racism – but you should never put your physical safety at risk. There are plenty of things you can do to make a difference that don’t involve confrontation.

    • Diversification is the name of the game. Sticking to one’s own culture makes one a ‘stick in the mud’

    • This has been the issue in the past up to this time, but most of us know how to deal with diversities. In a classroom for example, it is hard to teach diversified pupils/ students, but that was before, this time , there is less struggle for the technology helps a lot in solving the crises of diversities issues.

I must be wrong for what I said to a CVS clerk today.

What did I say to make the clerk feel like I was stepping on her toes? I was walking out towards the front door from the pharmacy in the back of the store, […]

    • lol!
Yeah, sometimes, it is better to pretend that nothing haad happened and just blog in your rants here and share online, shame those 2 ladies and the kiddo instead.
By the way, remember to name the store too!

    • Depends. When there is a monopoly of some sort; i.e the only petrol station for miles or the only supermarket they think they can treat us as they please.

    • The customer is always right but there are times the customer just have to respect him or herself and abide by the rules of any store one finds himself.

    • Depends on how a thing is pointed out. Diplomacy is the name of the game

    • The best thing to do is to report that matter to the manager or supervisor. That sales clerk might be so tied cannot anymore think of the nice solution. There are many stupid people this time. How nice to insult those crazy ladies. Maybe they are used to dirty floors. They might have dirty minds hehehe.Next time never care.

    • I was polite and direct but essentially ignored by the clerk as if I should mind my own business. I regret ever going into that store. It’s not about who’s right and who’s wrong. It’s just that I was pointing out a fact that I thought mattered.

    • You know what people say the customer is always right but I refute that because there are instances where customers can be so wrong, but because you don’t want to be seen in bad light you decide to keep quiet. Honestly speaking some people can be very ignorant. Making things very hard for everyone. Me as a customer if I saw something wrong in a store I will say something about it I won’t keep quiet so it’s up to the owners of that establishment to make the place look nice and organized otherwise you will loose your customers because of your negligence and ignorance so sometimes this saying works both ways.

Life is filled with the ups and downs, the good and the bad, the unpredictable occurrences. We will go through trials and sometimes lots of trials at one time. We’re equipped to get through those trials. We’ll be […]

    • yes, life is so unpredictable, there are ups and downs, we still have to go on living

look forward in a positive way, days ahead should turn out bright

    • Quite motivating, and makes us think and ponder and see challenges as learnings in our long life journey.

    • Even though I walk through the valleys of death am not alone I see a light that shines bright because at the end of every tunnel there is a light, and there is no situation that is permanent. I may be down today but that does not determine where I will be tomorrow. There ar3 so many things that we go through this life that can make someone give up so easily but we should never now down no matter what but guess what that’s what we do when things get so tough we opt to now down and say to ourselves I can’t take this anymore it’s really putting me down, instead of sting even though I may feel like nothing is working I will push myself harder and see how far I can go. We sometimes distrust ourselves so much that we don’t achieve our goals. Why is it so hard to tell oneself look, you can do this just a little more is all you need and you will get there. Why is that so hard? It’s because we don’t have faith in ourselves. When we challenge ourseelves we are more likely to do better, things may nit work now but who knows about tomorrow? Brighter days await us ahead push on and you will never regret it.

    • Some people get brighter days in the beginning, some get in the middle and some get in the end of life and it is life and life principle on earth for earthly men.

I think that our worst days are never so bad that you are beyond the reach of God’s grace. And your best days are never so good that you are beyond the need of God’s grace.

It’s one of those dumb days where nothing’s really wrong but nothing’s really right either and the sky can’t even choose to be white or gray.

Some days you get up and you already know that things aren’t going to go well. They’re the type of days when you should just give in, put your pajamas back on, make some hot chocolate and read comic books in bed with the covers up until the world looks more encouraging. Of course, they never let you do that.

    • We must surround ourselves with people who uplift and motivate us. If not, we will be stuck in our rut and even be stomped deeper into the ground.

When a child is down with a cold, fever, cough or diarrhea, it is a a natural for him to be in a bad, foul mood for days or weeks.

His unhappiness is as “contagious” as his sickness, it is “spreadable” […]

    • This is really funny. I remember the time i was still small. the time of sickness, though dreaded, was always an enjoyable one. i make orders of the things i want to eat or drink and they are brought with immediate effect. but once you show any sign of recovery, you are on your own.

    • parents turn into jellies and soft heart when kids are sick. So this is the best time when kids could use this opportunity to make parents abide whatever they wanted.
However, when they had recovered, it was hard for them to adjust back their normal lifestyle

    • Sick kids will always want to have someone near them someone who will encourage them and keep them company. That’s one thing that any sick person would want just some company will make them feel well. I remember when I got sick my mum would constantly check on me, I would have my favorite meals, always listen to music whenever I wanted too, so everything happened the way I wanted because people around you feel or think that when they do stuff for you you will get better much faster. As for the medicine part my mum was very strict on that and nothing would stop her from making you take your medication. She was very harsh but after taking it she would be kind enough to give you something sweet to sweeten your mouth as she tells you that you will be better off after that.

peachpurple wrote a new post, Bad Foods To Feed Your Kids 8 years, 3 months ago

    Children’s’ diet is deteriorating everyday.

Not only in America but the whole world is invaded with bad foods which are unhealthy for kids.

It is indeed the sad that the manufacturers and big companies are […]

    • London Swiss roll? I try not to give sweets, biscuits and chocolate to my kids. However, still will prepare these kind of ready Swiss roll , but in other favour like Pandan, strawberry for the kids during travel or when they came out from the swimming pool in their swimming class.
The is the fast and most easy way that I able to think of.
Off course, I do prepare my own baked bread for them.
What to prepared for my girl during her morning school break is always make me headache. I try to make five different food for five school day per week as possible, but it is not a easy task, I would say.
I try to buy bread, make her pan cake, steam rice, fried noddles, with some fruits, like apple, orange, peer, grapes, and even nuts.
However, it is another routine the following week. Hehe!

    • All this could down to the parents what do they eat in the presence of their children, because what you eat is what the child would want to eat so the parents have to be the ones giving or showing a good example from the start. When kids are trained to eat healthy nothing will make them want to live the healthy living for junk food coz they know what would happen. Everything that you have shared is definitely a keeper we all went out kids to grow up healthy no one wants a child who is obese or is suffering from some kind disease.

    • Yes in markets there are many foods that are not suitable for kids keeping in mind kids’ health. t’s no surprise that parents might need some help understanding what it means to eat healthy. From the MyPlate food guide to the latest food fad, it can be awfully confusing.

The good news is that you don’t need a degree in nutrition to raise healthy kids. Following some basic guidelines can help you encourage your kids to eat right and maintain a healthy weight.

You decide which foods to buy and when to serve them. Though kids will pester their parents for less nutritious foods, adults should be in charge when deciding which foods are regularly stocked in the house. Kids won’t go hungry. They’ll eat what’s available in the cupboard and fridge at home. If their favorite snack isn’t all that nutritious, you can still buy it once in a while so they don’t feel deprived.

Kids need to have some say in the matter. Schedule regular meal and snack times. From the selections you offer, let them choose what to eat and how much of it they want. This may seem like a little too much freedom. But if you follow step 1, your kids will be choosing only from the foods you buy and serve.

Whenever one is trying to do something that so many may consider out of the norm or something they’re unwilling to do. The resistance will come and when it does one has to put on the armor because all sorts of […]

    • One needs to be strong to go off the beaten track as there will be many who would think that whatever is being tried would be a futile exercise. History has many such examples.

    • The key is the remain “determined” and find common ground. Those who will be in the line of resistance are doing a disservice to themselves. Some may perceive that they’re gaining by trying to rip a person or persons apart. Society is filled with all sorts of people and sometimes we will have to deal with those who are disagreeable most of the time. What’s purpose will be no matter how many people are in disagreement. Be blessed.

    • The photo itself is giving inspiration to the person who feel in despair. Sometimes we just need to look around be motivated in our life and don’t just sitting in one corner.

    • In this world you cannot live without adversities. we cannot live without friends and enemies they are essential in our lives. just like we have friends who will help us in life and at other times they mislead us, so are our enemies. there are those who will help us and there are those that will mislead. So we all need to be determined to be able to live a good and straight life. i like your article very informative.

    • Those who are harassed by others are those who have weak will power and intention because it does so due to lack of knowledge is the main cause of it. Read the history of a revolutionary person he is criticized by others bitterly at home and out of home but he does not go the wrong path and follows his mission of bringing revolution in our society. At last he succeeds in his mission on the ground of will power and nothing else.

It is said intention brings fruits in physical shape. Sometimes you wish to go for a walk, knowing how good it is for your health and how wonderful you feel afterwards, yet, you feel too lazy and prefer to watch TV instead. You may be aware of the fact that you need to change your eating habits or stop smoking, yet, you do not have the inner power and persistence to change these habits.

Does this sound familiar? How many times have you told yourself, “I wish I had will power and self discipline”? How many times have you started some new activity and quit after a while? We all have had experiences like these.

Everyone possesses some habits or addictions they wishes they could overcome, such as smoking, excessive eating, laziness, procrastination or lack of assertiveness. Developed will power and self discipline bestow the inner strength to overcome any negative habit. They make a great difference in your life. They can make you a winner in whatever you do.

Will power is the ability to control unnecessary and harmful impulses. It is the ability to overcome laziness and procrastination. It is the ability to arrive to a decision and follow it with perseverance until its successful accomplishment. It is the inner power that overcomes the desire to indulge in unnecessary and useless habits, and the inner strength that overcomes inner emotional and mental resistance for taking action. It is one of the corner stones of success, both spiritual and material.

Self-discipline is the companion of will power. It endows the stamina to persevere in whatever one does. It bestows the ability to withstand hardships and difficulties, whether physical, emotional or mental. It grants the ability to reject immediate satisfaction for something better.

The human being is full of inner unconscious, or partly conscious, impulses. People sometimes say or do things they later regret saying or doing. On many occasions people do not think before they talk or act.

By developing these two powers, one becomes conscious of the inner subconscious impulses, and gains the ability to reject them when they are not for his/her own good.
