OMG, so I get emails from sites that you can make money on.  This one sounded very promising!!  You were sent email lists of people that were interested in a product and if they clicked on the link you got 20 cents.  They provided you with the list, all you had to do was send the emails.  It was only $1.00 start up, and if you didn’t make $100 in…[Read more]

I’ll be the first to admit that I use “freebie” sites to get things in the mail!!  Some of the things I try to see if it would be worth it to buy the product.  I’ve also heard of sites that if you try their product and give a review of it, you can keep it for free.

@peachpurple, hat’s why this is a challenge!! lol  I find that even though there are certain categories I know nothing on, I do some research and maybe I do know something about it.  That’s why a lot of times we stay in our “comfort” zones in writing we just write about what we know.

JoDee Stout wrote a new post, Giving Second Chances 8 years, 5 months ago

Do you easily give someone/something a second chance?  I believe in giving a person/something the benefit of the doubt, so I certainly give second chances!!  You maybe wondering why I say “something”, in those c […]

    • Before giving second chance we should know the thing or the person deserve the second chance or not.

    • I am always doing this to my students. I always give them the second chance to pass. i have to consider the plea for Physics and math subjects that I am teaching are not easy for them to understand. Only few are gifted with the ability to like and understand easily Physics and Algebra ( Mathematics).

    • This is not easy to give second chance to a person specially when the matter is come to love relationship, because the whole love relationship is based on faith and believes. so in my view this is totally not possible to give a Second chance .

    • I guess it is a case-to-case basis and second chances are given to people/things that didn’t cause too much trauma in our lives. I also believe in the “benefit of the doubt” but there are instances when the pain caused is too overbearing, giving second chances is out of the table.

    • @JoDee Stout

      Very interesting blog

I too have noticed a second chance performs better no matter what it could be. We learn from mistakes.

    • it is beneficial to give another person or site a 2nd chance to allow them to improve themselves and it is also giving yourself a 2nd chance to reborn again.

Good to hear that you had remarried your ex hubby.
Still, you two have a long way ahead to enjoy your old age together

    • It is easy to give second chance specially to the person you love..but third chance NEVER?

    • Yes, three chances must be given to everyone if someone makes anything wrong with you. Because all wise men require just one chance no second and third chance in life. Foolish retiree a lot of chances in life because making something wrong is their mission and it is the fault of character and early education.

I say it is fault of parents who do not teach their children what to at home and out of home and what to do with others. They take life as a bundle of lies and do wrong and earn money and other benefits in life.

Sometimes people screw up. As imperfect beings charged with the power to manipulate, lie, cheat and steal and the emotional sophistication to feel jealousy, heartbreak and outrage, this is to be expected. And so we sometimes find it in our hearts to empathize with the offender and forgive or love them and forget.

We award second chances and some of us are filled with so much empathy or love that we give third and fourth chances. Still other times we do not and the offender must lay down in the bed he made.

The offender hoping for a second chance is usually tearful and offers remorse and promises to change. They arrive with pleading parents, distraught letters from children or character references from community leaders. Our job is to weed through their emotions and ignore our own in order to come to some objective version of the past and present to foretell the likelihood of a more positive future.

Today June 14th is Flag Day here in the U.S.  People in the U.S. celebrate by proudly flying their flags and even having celebrations.

Flag Day all started by a school teacher in Wisconsin had her class honor the flag resolution in 1777.  Then Presidents got involved and finally in 1949 it was designated, June 14th as a holiday!!

    • Great post and needed during this time. This was a good one to share with the social medial world…so I did 🙂 I hope no one you knew was there. I agree we need to keep praying!

    • Very sad incident happened in Florida listening to the news I was stunt because many innocents were killed without reason. Who did so this attack? I am sure, public do not know but the higher command and scheme makes know it well. But its cause will never be known to public till the doomsday, because, it is apolitical game in all countries, innocent people do not know this. As Shakespeare has right said..

“Do not come between the Dragons and its wrath.”
But public comes under its wrath and crushed mercilessly on the road or in the clubs. Florid police reports says:

Fort Myers police said in a statement that they were “seeking to determine a motive” for the shooting, which appears to have been carried out by at least two gunmen.

Three of the attackers have already been arrested, they added.

There gave no indication as to whether the attack was terror-related.

An attack on a gay nightclub in Orlando, Florida on June 12 left 49 dead in the worst gun massacre in recent US history.

Police killed the gunman, Omar Mateen, a 29-year-old US citizen of Afghan origin, after a three-hour standoff.

The Islamic State jihadist group claimed responsibility for that attack, calling the Mateen “one of the soldiers of the caliphate.” US authorities have said he was apparently radicalized after watching jihadist propaganda online.

That rampage and other recent shootings have renewed debate about gun laws in the United States.

After the incident, the White House denounced the “cowardice” of US senators who failed to pass gun control legislation.

President Barack Obama, a Democrat, has repeatedly called for Republicans to realize the cost of their opposition to gun control and spending on mental health and drug treatment.

“We refuse to fund drug treatment and mental health programs. We flood communities with so many guns that it is easier for a teenager to buy a Glock than get his hands on a computer or even a book,” he said at a recent memorial service for five police officers shot in Dallas.

Last month, Democratic lawmakers staged a virtually unprecedented 24-hour sit-in in Congress after Republicans refused to allow a vote on two widely supported measures.

It is just as man dies on the road and the murderer is released on the ground of bribery but the next day the newspaper says just. ” A man was shot the road.”

You will read just this headline on the front in the newspaper. Alas! and fie upon our society and politicians.
