Imagine being in a crowded place and a person has a gun and starts shooting people!! Yes, I’m referring to the latest shooting that they’re claiming could be the worst shooting in modern U.S. history. 53 innocent people are dead!! I abhor that he news media had to make reference that it was a “gay” bar!! What difference does it make? Innocent lives were taken, who cares what sexual preference the bar is? But apparently the type of nightclub may have been a motive for the killer. But why continue the assault on the SWAT team that was called on the scene?
The gunman also must have been aware of when the bar closed, because he attacked it before closing. What could have been his motive other than he didn’t like homosexuals? Apparently he didn’t care about killing people over his prejudice!! The County Attorney is calling this an act of terrorism. Now, how can they classify this as terrorism?? He apparently was prejudiced against homosexuals, how can that be “political?” Or is it because he had ties with Islamic terrorism?
Whatever the reasoning is behind the shooting, the families and loved ones of those that were killed by this murderer should be in our prayers. They were innocent victims, whether they were homosexuals or not, their Lives Mattered!! Prayers also go out to those who were injured as well. This community should come together and be a comfort to each other. It doesn’t matter what their skin colour is, the religion they believed in or their sexual preference was, their lives mattered and NO ONE should have taken their lives away!! Just because you don’t like some one for whatever reason, doesn’t mean you should kill them!! This killer apparently got what was coming to him, as he is dead. Even his life mattered, but he shouldn’t have killed all those innocent people!!

@oksummer thank-you for the compliment!! I think we should concentrate on the fact that innocent lives were taken...nothing more , nothing less. No, I didn't know of anyone, but I pray for their families that they left behind. :(
Very sad incident happened in Florida listening to the news I was stunt because many innocents were killed without reason. Who did so this attack? I am sure, public do not know but the higher command and scheme makes know it well. But its cause will never be known to public till the doomsday, because, it is apolitical game in all countries, innocent people do not know this. As Shakespeare has right said..
"Do not come between the Dragons and its wrath."
But public comes under its wrath and crushed mercilessly on the road or in the clubs. Florid police reports says:
Fort Myers police said in a statement that they were "seeking to determine a motive" for the shooting, which appears to have been carried out by at least two gunmen.
Three of the attackers have already been arrested, they added.
There gave no indication as to whether the attack was terror-related.
An attack on a gay nightclub in Orlando, Florida on June 12 left 49 dead in the worst gun massacre in recent US history.
Police killed the gunman, Omar Mateen, a 29-year-old US citizen of Afghan origin, after a three-hour standoff.
The Islamic State jihadist group claimed responsibility for that attack, calling the Mateen "one of the soldiers of the caliphate." US authorities have said he was apparently radicalized after watching jihadist propaganda online.
That rampage and other recent shootings have renewed debate about gun laws in the United States.
After the incident, the White House denounced the "cowardice" of US senators who failed to pass gun control legislation.
President Barack Obama, a Democrat, has repeatedly called for Republicans to realize the cost of their opposition to gun control and spending on mental health and drug treatment.
"We refuse to fund drug treatment and mental health programs. We flood communities with so many guns that it is easier for a teenager to buy a Glock than get his hands on a computer or even a book," he said at a recent memorial service for five police officers shot in Dallas.
Last month, Democratic lawmakers staged a virtually unprecedented 24-hour sit-in in Congress after Republicans refused to allow a vote on two widely supported measures.
It is just as man dies on the road and the murderer is released on the ground of bribery but the next day the newspaper says just. " A man was shot the road."
