I am still far away from the cash out. I have earned more than $2 in the few days in May after I have requested my first payment here, and now it’s still at $3. I don’t think I will be able to cash out this month too, perhaps another month for me. ๐Ÿ™‚

Congratulations to those who have got paid and also those who are going to receive the payments soon. Sorry to hear that the payments have been late for some people and this caused the stress too. Glad that admin has mentioned about it and it looks like everyone will be receiving their payment very soon.

I think the site is still very new and perhaps the team is not familiar with the payment process or forgot to cater for the weekend and hence caused the delay. I am sure the team will learn from the experience and will work better next time. ย I can understand the delay can really make us worry as this is still a new site. ย I agree thatย it would be better if the team can give us prior notice, so it helps to eliminate any worries or guessing games around.

@grecy095 Congratulations on receiving your first payment and thank you for showing the payment proof. I think it is really helpful for the site so others will have more confidence in joining us. I wanted to post that when I received mine, but I think I did not do that. ๐Ÿ˜›

Yes, it is good to know that LiteracyBase has been paying for two months now. Congratulations to all who have received the payment! ๐Ÿ™‚

@nakitakona13 Congratulations on requesting your first payment. It’s good to know you enjoy spending time here. Same as others, I think you will receive your payment on 10 August, as you will always receive your payment on 10th next month, if I am not mistaken. I wonder if you can still request for another payment by end of July, and receive them together on 10 August.

@bestwriter You have already deleted your account in BlogJob, but not planning to wait for the reward system to be resumed? Though I am not sure if it will be back, I do hope so. I have not visited the site for quite some time, but have read that there is no further update from the admin yet.

@thinker That’s really a good formula, you are really a thinker! Though I am not sure if I can write 40 ย blog posts per month. Perhaps I will come out with my formula too, based on yours.

Yes, it’s really good that there is no limit here, so we can earn as much as we want. ๐Ÿ™‚

Congratulations to all who have got the payment. It’s always joyful to hear someone has been paid and also good to hear that this site is paying too, though I am still very far away from the minimum payout.

@swalia Have you got your payment yet? At first I was curious why someone has received theirs but you have not, perhaps as suny said, ย the site sent the payment individually and hence everyone received the payment at different time. Hope you will get yours very soon.

@peachpurple Good that you have got paid again, with a bigger amount too! I thought we do not need to pay any fee for the payment here. @sunil I always do not remember the fee charges in paypal. So it would be better to request a bigger payment, am I right?

@scc2046 The minimum payout is $10, and yes, you can redeem whenever it’s more than $10 and even more. The payment is made monthly here. If you have made your redemption by end of the month, you will get paid on 10th next month.

@raaman I am sorry that your posts have been deleted. I agree with scheng1, there may be a system glitch. I think the team is still working to improve the site, hence there might be some errors here and there, and blog approval delay as well.

I have not been active on the site for about a month, hence I have no idea how the site is going now, but I do hope it will continue to grow well, even though slowly. I felt a little bit sad and quite shock reading the title of this thread, as LB is one of my favorite online working sites, as I think it has the potential to grow especially with the responsiveness of the support.

@scheng1 Good to hear that the moderators will let us know the reason for not approving the posts and how we can improve them. I think this is really good, as we know what kind of articles are good for the site, and hence we can always write good articles for the site.

I also turn off my email notifications, so I am not sure if we will be notified when we have new messages. I usually get to know if I have got a message from the number next to the envelope icon on the top right corner. So, if I do not login to LB, I will not get to know if I have got messages.

@ruby3881 Do images in the post affect SEO, or do you just test it out to see if it has any impact on the earnings on LB only?

If I am not mistaken, I read that it’s good to add alternate text or tooltip for image, so the search engine can pick up the keyword for the image. I am not sure if I understand this correctly. So, does that mean it’d be better for us to add these attributes to the images in order to get better SEO?

I wonder if the slow blog post review process is because of the weekends. The team needs to take longer time to review more blog posts as they are not working in the weekend.

I am sure you will update us about your findings soon. ๐Ÿ™‚

@scheng1 Do you mean it used to be only 10 cents for a 300 word post previously? Certainly 15 cents is much better. ๐Ÿ™‚

@oksummer It seems you are doing quite good here as a newbie. Hope your blog post will be approved soon.

@bestwriter Congratulations on reaching the payout again! I would prefer to make my redemption at the end of the month, since I am only getting the payment on 10th next month anyway. I don’t think I would like to carry forward some money to next month in order to make a redemption again next month, it’s better if I can get the money on 10th next month, just in case I need the money.

I actually like the monthly payment process, so the team does not need to spend too much effort on processing the payment throughout the whole month, but just focus on it the first few days of each month. It should be easier to allocate the workload especially when there are more members. If the site is trusted and stable, I think it’s fine to wait for the monthly payment, like mylot. I would like to have auto redemption, like how mylot does too, so I don’t need to bother or remember when to redeem. ๐Ÿ˜›

@ruby3881 I am also interested to know if the number of images in the post does matter. I usually just add a featured image to my post. If the pay rates are back to the previous ones, I think you’ll get to earn 22 cents for 500+ words post, but 15 cents for less than 500 words post. Hence, I think it’d be good if we can just make it to 500+ if it’s near to 500 words, likes yours. I think it is not difficult for you to add a few more words, but you can earn slightly more. ๐Ÿ™‚

I wonder if the moderators are manually reviewing the posts, hence the shorter posts get to published first as they spend more time reading the longer ones.

@sunil I wonder why the team reverts the pay rates to the old ones. Are the old rates easier to calculate or better for the site to grow? As I am not familiar with SEO, the old rates are certainly better for me, but perhaps it helps to push us to learn more about SEO with the new rates.

If I am not mistaken, after I made my first redemption and before I went for delivery, I have earned another $2.50. Now, I only have $2.70 which means I have only earned $0.20 in June. ๐Ÿ˜€

At first I thought of reaching at least $10 in June, as I thought it might not be too difficult to make 30-40 cents per day. But it’s not as easy as I thought. Most of the time I am either carrying my baby or sleeping, even though I have time to look at the screen (while carrying my baby), it is not easy to type too much. Hence, I decided to just give up making any goal here.

Without contributing, I am happy with my earning. ๐Ÿ™‚

@peachpurple Congratulations on reaching $10 already! I thought parenting post is supposed to be a SEO friendly article. I wrote a post after I came back from hospital, it’s slightly more than 500 words, and I got 20 cents. It seems like the pay rate per post has been changed?

This challenge sounds interesting, but I don’t think I will be able to complete it. Perhaps my knowledge or interest is quite narrow, and I doubt I can write a post in each category. But @4cryingoutloud is right, that’s why it’s called a challenge. Though I would love to take the challenge, I am not sure if I can find time or have any inspiration to write even one post now. I have been trying or thinking hard to come up with one post, but I still haven’t start any yet. ๐Ÿ˜€

Ever since I started to learn knitting or crocheting a few years ago, Youtube is one of the best resources for me to learn. We can find many good video tutorials online, and we can learn how to do those handwork step by step, slowly. If I have missed out any step, I just need to scroll back and watch again. That’s how I learned knitting and crocheting.

Besides handwork, sometimes I would refer to youtube for how to cook or bake certain food too. Though I always refer to the recipes online, sometimes learning from the video tutorials seem to be easier for beginners.

I also watch some webinars about parenting or kids education from youtube if they were uploaded there. Besides youtube, some good webinars are hosted in vimeo as well.

I used to watch music videos or some short videos/entertainment programs from youtube before I have my children, now it seems like I am too busy to watch those entertaining videos but just focus more on learning video tutorials now.

@ruby3881 I am sorry to hear that you had such a rough day. Hope today is a better day for you. ๐Ÿ™‚

It is really frustrating especially when you got something wrong in the early morning, especially when kids need to go to school in time. It seems like no matter how old the kids are, the mother still needs to be in charge of everything – waking up the kids, filling up the snacks, etc. Hope you’ll be able to get some money and buy the new cell phones for everyone soon.

I agree with @peachpurple, perhaps it’s good to put down something not so important, and make ourselves feel better first. It’s nice that we have LiteracyBase here for us to vent a bit, and it seems like the friends here are so supportive. I vent in mylot sometimes.

I always like to set two different time for the alarm clock features in my cell phone, as @peachpurple said, perhaps 10 or 15 minute difference, just in case I might miss the first one. But, since it’s your cell phone not working properly, perhaps you need to get another alarm clock that works fine at the moment.

So, has your oldest got another summer job?

June 10, 2016 at 1:40 pm

Time passed so fast, and it’s already the date some of us are going to receive our first payment from LiteracyBase. I haven’t been active on the site due to my newborn baby and also software project, I am not sure if there are any changes lately, but from what I know previously, we are going to receive the payment today. I guess it’s still early in United States now, so we should just wait for perhaps a day to receive the payment, as admin might need to wait for day time to process the payment.

Good luck to LiteracyBase, good luck to us! ๐Ÿ™‚

I have not heard about sites that make money from making lists, it sounds really interesting! I doubt it opens for all countries. It seems like these shopping or rewarding sites are mostly for US people only. Hope you will be able to earn some extra income from these sites.

I have just checked out shopwell, it looks good. It seems like you can earn by adding products to list, asking questions and also writing articles and reviews. But, it doesn’t mention how we can earn in the FAQ. It seems like how much we earn based on the popularity of what we have produced on the site, views and reads seem to be counted as well. I don’t get to know much information about payment or whether it opens for all countries from the FAQ.

@4cryingoutloud Have you signed up to the site yet? How are you doing there now? Have you checked out the blog? I read from the blog, it seems like referring to others is one of the ways to earn points as well, besides writing lists, asking questions, writing articles and reviews. I also read that the points earned are not displayed anymore, and it seems like it’s now a secret to calculate the points now. Hope this is a legit site and you are doing well there.
