@morgoodie Actually, almost all my earnings are from forum replies, besides the 12 cents from the blog post. I can see you are active in forums sometimes. So, if you continue to reply in forums, you will reach $1 in no time. Of course, support has mentioned that we will be rewarded if we are hardworking writers (I am not sure if this refers to blogging only or forum reply as well).

I am glad I can at least motivate some people here. That’s what a community is for, isn’t it? We are here to help each other and share with each other too! 🙂

@grecy095 Thanks for the compliment. Actually this is the reason I like to participate in forums, as we are here to support each other as well. That’s the reason I still stay in mylot, even though it’s earning slow, I have some supportive friends there that always motivate me and cheer me up. Sometimes even by reading their discussions already encourage me, as some are really positive minded. 🙂

In My History, my blog post earning displayed as a number, such as 924. Hence, I guess that’s the total number of words for the post. I guess @peachpurple‘s are the same too.

@lovern I guess if we write lengthy and better quality posts, we will get to earn more here. Though I like mylot as well, I think I can earn better and faster in LB. Moreover, I haven’t really explore the benefits that come with blogging and referral signups. These two are the major tasks recommended by the site, I think.

@slayer08 Glad to here that. The more active members, I suppose we will earn more as well. 🙂

@sunil How about the number shown in your profile page under Referral Signups? Do you get at least 1 (from me)? I am also wondering if the referral commission will be counted end of the day, month or when you cash out.

Hope @support can answer us with this. Thanks.

May 9, 2016 at 1:05 pm

@sunil I am sure I signed up with your referral link, didn’t you get that? I always wanted to ask you how the referral earnings you get and how it’s shown in My History section, because I do not have any referrals, so I don’t know how it is. It’d be easier to get to know this from you.

Hope @support can help to figure this out, could it be the referral link is not working earlier? Thanks in advanced.

@grecy095 Good that you are already so active in sharing and also exploring more. I always find learning new things keep me motivated and while we got the inspiration, we’d feel better in life as well. I guess that’s why we will be more energetic if we keep on learning in our life. 🙂

I will need to check out goo.gl too, since I already have Google account, so I would just stick to their service, instead of registering for a new one.

Yes, one of the reasons I miss BlogJob so much is because of @ruby3881 . She is the one who inspired to learn more about blogging and social media marketing, those are not only good for me while working at BlogJob, but also can be applied to my own freelance business in future. Moreover, the way she guided is easy for newbies like me to understand. Sometimes I tried to read those articles from experts, but I found them too difficult to digest and I got bored. 😀

Glad that @ruby3881 is here with us too! I really appreciate her generous sharing and guidance. 🙂

@grecy095 Thank you for sharing that. Perhaps I will learn about other social media sites first, such as StumbleUpon, Digg, Reddit. At the moment, I just focus on Twitter, Google+ and Pinterest, since I already have some followers in these sites, so it might be easier to bring me some traffics.

Also, thank you for mentioning how things look like and work in mobile phone. I don’t have a smart phone, so I don’t actually check how things look there. I will need to find a way to test it next time. 😀

I am definitely spending too much time here, much more than I should. 😀
I do not know how much time I am spending here daily, as I am always working on my software project while visiting LiteracyBase to read and write, and perhaps some other tasks online as well. Though I thought of using a timer to time how much time I spend on each work, it’s not easy for me to do so, as I always work on them simultaneously.

Moreover, I think the page loading in LiteracyBase site is quite slow for me, perhaps the performance of my computer is not that fast as well, hence it took me longer time to load a page here. This is another reason I also work on other stuffs at the same time. It would be nicer if the page load is much faster on the site, so we can work faster here. 🙂

As I am at home all day long, so I always come in and out of my study to do my work, house work and also spend time with my children. So I hardly count how much time I spend here. It’s good to you pay attention to your son after he’s come back. 🙂

@morgoodie Thanks. I have read that there were issues with the site previously, I am glad now those have been fixed now. As I haven’t really experience any errors so far. I always check out the Explore tab at different time whenever I am working with my computer, sometimes I get one or two ads there, and it adds up to a few in a day, which give me quite good earning.

@lovern I guess we just can’t trust all the sites online, but there are certainly some legit sites that pay us. I have been getting paid by AIP online and GlobalTestMarket so far. I haven’t explore the rest yet. But I read that mintvine and fusion cash are good sites for those who are staying in US.

If you are interested in trying out the survey sites, perhaps you can consider these sites that we have got paid from. Another member (writinglover22) also recommended MySurvey and OnePoll, and she has no issue with the payments, but I haven’t check out these two sites yet.

@peachpurple I agree with @ruby3881 , it doesn’t take 1000 words to earn 10 cents. I just have one post published. It’s 924 words and I earned 12 cents for that. I am not sure how the quality is being calculated. I will try to write more posts, so I can share and invite more people to LiteracyBase. Also, it might be good to test out the pay rate, as I think many people would be interested to know the pay rate in order for them to join the site. Thank you for sharing that with us.

Actually the reason I answered several members’ comments in one comment box is some forums do not allow multiple comments one after another from the same member. So, whenever I replied, I would just use one comment box. Hopefully @support will let us know if multiple comments at a time is allowed here. Thanks.

@sunil I think writing blog posts really helped you to earn faster, am I right?

@morgoodie Perhaps as your sister said, it’s a fashion statement, but not only a necessity anymore. It’s good that she can make good sales from her stand. I like slouch hats, they look nice. I did knit or crochet hats for my children, they do not really wear them, but just wear for fun when they are playing at home.

I would like to sell my handwork online one day, it’s just something nice to do, but I will need to learn how to set it up and how to handle the shipping too. I have no idea how to these now.

Reading these few forum threads really encourage me to write more blog posts here. It seems like the moderators here work pretty hard to review our submitted blog posts. I should really work harder and also gather more inspiration to write some posts and share them on the social media sites too.

@sunil 6-7k word articles are really a lot to me. I’d be interested to check out your website, please share me the link. Thank you.

@morgoodie If I am not mistaken, mintvine and fusion cash do not open for all countries, though I have heard many good comments about these two sites.

Yes, I think it’s good for those survey sites to reward us some small amount of points even if we are not qualified for the surveys, as sometimes we spent quite some time to answer the questions before we know if we are eligible. I like GlobalTestMarket because they do that.

@grecy095 I still get quite a number of qualified surveys from AIP online and GlobalTestMarket. Though I don’t earn much from AIP online, I do get some shopping vouchers that I can use locally which is good for me too, as we always do grocery shoppings at that shopping mall. Hence, I still participate in doing surveys, though it’s time consuming. I have heard about YouGov, but have not find out more about it yet.

I think different people like different sites for making money online, some are fine with PTC, but some are not. Same goes to survey sites. 🙂

@grecy095 This is really encouraging! I have just spent my time in forum so far, and have not really write more posts and share much yet. I guess I will need to do it now, so it’s better for us and for the site as well. Though I’d still like to participate in the forums, I guess we just need make a good strategy for us to work well here.

1. Participate in forums

2. Write blog posts

3. Share posts & forum topics!

@ruby3881 I also did not know the usage of using the link shortener. So it is actually to save up the characters being used in Twitter? Then I think I should look into it. Thanks again for your sharing.
Now I guess I will just share my posts manually.

May 9, 2016 at 1:44 am

@ruby3881 Yes, I agree that the technology world is always changing, and I am sure there is a reason for allowing or encouraging lengthy articles now. I think more images are being used in the articles too, right?

Thank you for sharing this. You have really been in this writing world for long time, I am sure you have done lots of studies and are doing good. I am glad I can learn so much from you. 🙂

@sunil Did you choose to transfer the amount in Mturk to that shopping site or they just transferred it for you? The tasks in mturk seem to be more interesting than those in microworkers.

I don’t remember being charged $2 to request the pin from microworker, but I don’t think it’s fair for charging that, especially it’s not your mistake for not receiving the pin. I have got my pin for the first time I requested, but I think I got paid once only, then I couldn’t find any interesting tasks to work on, so I just left it aside. I think I am just $2 away from the cash out. Glad that they still keep my account and balance there though I have been inactive for years. Perhaps I will just check it out once in a while and see if there is any task I can work on.

I think odesk is now called UpWork. I was with odesk last time, but wasn’t really active in looking for jobs there as I have other work to do as well. I have heard from cessy in FC, it’s a good site to earn. I was told another similar site, PeoplePerHour, but I have not check it out.

@morgoodie $1 for a day sounds very good for me. 🙂
As for EasyHits4u, you will be credited $0.30 automatically after you have surfed 1000 ads. You can check your earnings in Statistics. Once you have reached $3, then you can request for cash out.
I don’t think we can exchange credits for cash.

@grecy095 Yes, me too. I do not have the temptation to buy things unless I really want to, so I always prefer cash through PayPal too. I am not familiar with bitcoins yet, perhaps that’s another area I will be looking into in future. 😀
